On tap and reviewed at bar.
A- black with very small odd brown colored head.
S- dark bitter cocoa chocolate. Earthy.
T- along with smell, dark bitter chocolate, earthy tones, roasted malt
M- low carbonation, medium body, not to dry on the palate
D- easy drinking, slightly dryer than I'd like overall. Not the most complex.
Serving type: on-tap

750ml bottle at 41 F poured into a pair of large chalices. Surprisingly, I can't find a bottle code or date
Pours black, not much head -- just a light brown ring. Not much carbonation. Looks thick. Smell is chocolate and black licorice, slightly sweet.
Taste is more of the smell. Chocolate and black licorice, Something tealike, much more coffee. Nice sweetness.
Mouthfeel is thick but not heavy, slight grit. Overall, very tasty.
Belatedly: Vanilla. Definitely some vanilla. Maybe it came out more as it warmed.
