Deep twilight mahogany brown topped with a plume of pale khaki that is slow to recede and tosses lace all over.
The nose bring a weak coffee note, almonds, walnuts, spruce, chocolate oranges, and birch bark. Vanilla seeps out as it warms, wrapped in cigar smoke and cedar. It's an attractive aroma, but a stunted one.
Again with the weak, watery coffee suggestions as it eddies across the tastebuds. There's bits of smoke and toast and roasted nuts. Everything congeals towards burnt bagels in the middle, then the hops pelt down bitter pine resin balls tinted with white grapefruit, rusty tin, and chewed aspirin.
It carries a fleecy, almost airy, moderately carbonated body.
While not unpleasant in the least, but its not readily approachable either. It never gains a true identity, nothing coheres.
