Surprisingly citrusy, with enough bready malt backbone to counter the slightly bitter finish. Juniper doesn't overwhelm.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a tumbler on 04.01.14.

A: See through yellow/orange. No head.

S: Caramel, maybe tangerine. Very sweet and fruity smelling.

T: Caramel, citrus, juniper berry dominate. Has some bitterness on the back end.

M: Crisp.

O: This was an ok beer. It wasn't bad, but wasn't complex or very interesting. I've had better beers with juniper added.

Poured into a balloon glass.

Look: Rusty tangerine body, light cream colored head with good retention. Light webbed lacing.

Aroma: Sweet malts up front, slight berry tart, faint hop bitterness.

Taste: A good blend of juniper berry tart and citrus coating over the sweeter malt profile. Well balanced.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied, slightly dry.

Overall: Really solid, would be easy to session.

Tastes like a mediocre ale with a shot of mediocre gin tipped into it. Say no more.
