I was quite intrigued by this beer, and decided to bite the bullet (expensive bullet) and give it a try. 650ml bottle poured into a pint glass.

It pours a slighty hazy medium apricot colour. the head is sparse, but there is a good amount of carbonation coming up to the top. It's a fairly standard looking pale.

The aroma is faint and dominated by a sweet, smooth malty-ness. There are some faint aromatic hops too, but nothing overpowering. The juniper isn't noticeable at all, which is a bit of let down.

It is slightly bitter to start, and then some light toasty malt rolls across the tongue. The hops come through nicely towards the middle and blend into some interesting and complimentary juniper aspects. It finishes with a kind of cooling effect, no doubt from the juniper. There is a nice malty finish.

Overall, this beer is subtle and balanced. It could have gone wrong in many ways, but it manages to stay on track. At the same time, I wish the Juniper was a bit more pronounced.

A: Hazy gold with a small white head and no lacing.

S: Biscuity malts and... corn? A little spicy hop character.

T: Unexpectly light on the malt flavor. More slightly biscuity and corn flavor. Quite a nice substantial spicy hoppiness. When it's cold, I'm getting very little juniper flavor. It's just there behind the hops. Remarkably close to a cream ale in my opinion--a little bit like a spicier version of Spotted Cow.

M: Very light and clean.

I'm really disappointed in the lack of juniper flavor in this beer, but moreover it's not really that great a pale ale.

A-clear dark yellow with a stable nice white head. some lacing

S-honestly smells a bit like an adjunct lager...light honey and corn. a slight herbal aspect to it.

T-comes in with a really creamy herbs taste...which i'm thinking might be the juniper. its a really good and smooth taste with just a touch of bitterness. the after-taste is matching with a hint of cereal as well.

M-creamy medium carbonation with a slightly dry finish

O-one of the most drinkable beers i've had lately. the tastes are smooth and clean. this is the second one i've had and both disappeared way too quickly. it won't leave a lasting impression but you'll enjoy it while you're drinking it.

Singer finger white head on a hazy golden with slight crimson hues. Aroma is nice but faint sweet juniper aroma with a slight almost noble hop like aroma. Flavor is mildly hoppy with a subtle nobel hop, musty almost wet sock hop flavor. Light malt. Moderate to high carbonation and light to medium body. A nice beer if u like noble hop tasting beers.

Pours a crystal clear light orange with a 1 inch foamy white head that settles to a thin film on the top of the beer. Thin foamy rings of lace line the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt/grains and some slight herbal (juniper?) aromas. Taste is of malt/grains up front with a finish that has hints of herbal flavors. A mild bitterness on the palate after each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer but the juniper that is supposedly in this one does not stand out very much.
