Pours a slightly hazy light gold color with a nice bright white head.

Aromas are floral, doughy, with some light spice notes.

Taste is very clean and crisp. Light bread dough, mineral water, some creaminess, and a nice floral hop bite.

Mouthfeel is nice, good body, and nice crisp carbonation.

Overall, a very nice pils. I usually pass right by Rogue bottles in the store, but this was on sale, so I figured I'd give it a try. And I have to say, I am glad I did, nice beer.

Nice looking, tan and very clear with a nice white two finger head that lasted, leaving nice lacing.

Smell and taste: smooth and subdued, bready and lightly hoppy, grainy, lightly sweet and just a touch of something almost funky.

Body is very full and thick, almost slick, carbonation very smooth and more stout-like than the usual you'd expect from a pilsner. I almost want to say that the body doesn't match the style really, but it's damn fine and goes down great.

It's a damn likeable beer. While rogue is sometimes hit and miss for me, I think this one is quite tasty and well within the expectations for the style.

Had a pint at Liberty St. Tavern. Went great with a large cheese pizza. The hops here are relatively rich for the style, but damn it's delicious. The crisp, clean bready malts are quickly rolled over by strong earthy and floral hop oil. There's a milder grapefruit edge, but it's not fruity like an American IPA. The mouthfeel was spot on and Good Chit, coincidentally, paired fantastically with my pizza. Give this a try if you like a good, hoppy pils.

Had this on tap at ROGUE Ales Publick House in San Francisco.

In a pilsner glass the beer was a golden color. The head was white, medium-sized, and left a bit of lace. Pretty carbonation. Sweet, bready aroma. Grassy, outdoors hops. Bready taste followed by grassy hops, with some late citrus hops. A crisp, refreshing beer.

Brewed using 5 ingredients: Weyermann acidulated, Rogue Micro Barley Farm Dare Floor Malt, Rogue Micro Hopyard Liberty Hops, Czech Pils Wyeast 2278 and Free Range Coastal Water. Specs: 13º PLATO 40 IBU

Nice pilsner but nothing special.

This is excellent.

Pale straw gold, big white head fairly quickly shrinks to a foamy ring and weak hint of lace.

Aroma is slightly funky vegetables, wet earth, hint of sulphur, yeasty bread dough noticeable after a minute, then mellows to a "wonderbread"-like element.

Taste is unusual, bitterness just barely, gently dominates from the start to finish. It is balanced with light sweetness, mineral, yeast. Hop bitterness is grassy-herbal, faintly medicinal and sticks to sides of tongue & cheeks gently in a nice, engaging way. Light sweetness and minerally yeasty bread dough dominate the centre of the tongue through thr aftertaste. It is engaging, lively, highly drinkable.

A - Pours with one finger of dense, white foam on top of a clear, light golden body. The head settles at a moderate pace and leaves excellent lace.

S - Musty pilsner malt with notes of honey and herbal hops.

T - Lightly sweet malt up front with some herbal hop character coming out in the middle. More musty, herbal hop flavor in the finish with dry, thin malt.

M - Medium body, moderately high carbonation, and a very dry finish.

D - Pretty nicely made, the hop character is right on and though the malt is a bit thin in my opinion but it is still very drinkable.

A: single finger head with nice retention and good lacing on a clear bright straw-gold body.

S: grains and pale malts. just not very fruit, some spices.

T: very nice version of the style. The bitter hop character is well represented, the malt and grain base balance the hops well. a little spicey with mild sweet corn sweetness mostly in the middle.

M: medium body and moderate to high carbonation, semi dry finish.

Overall: I like this one for the style. Its drinkable and well balanced.

A: The beer is relatively clear light yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high bright white head that died down a bit but consistently left a quarter finger high head covering the surface and lots of thin rings of bubbles down the sides of the glass.
S: There are moderately strong aromas of grainy malts and grassy hops in the nose.
T: The taste is similar to the smell and also has some hints of bready malts. There’s a light amount of bitterness, but it is relatively prominent given the lighter-bodied nature of this beer; the bitterness lingers through the finish.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied, clean and a bit dry on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is rather bitter for the style and seems like it would be a pilsner that a hophead might even enjoy. It is very easy to drink and rather sessionable.
