A: Somewhat typical of a pilsner, bright golden, small foamy white head, lot of carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass.

S: Lemony, slight citrus hop character behind it, semi-floral. Smells quite sweet with a good tartness behind it.

T: Really get a lot of lime flavors initially, goes into some earthy notes as well with some breadiness lingering at the end

M: Very creamy with a nice citrus bite

Overall this was quite nice. I usually don't really go for pilsners too much, but I'm glad I took the chance on this one.

The Good Chit and Single Malt Ale by Chatoe Rogue are the two best beers I've ever had for general beer consumption. Occasionally I like heavier and lighter beers, but for the standard, their single malt ale and the good chit are the best. Since I first tried these beers no other beer satisfies me, in the general range of beers, excluding heavies and true lights.

Here's my E=mc^2 description of this beer, and 'the good chit', which are both nearly indistinguishable, btw:

OMG, amazing, the best beers. The only beers that I have thought "How can I make these beers, these are the best I've ever had!" Because the balance of the flavor-nourishing-quality-feel is the best I've ever had.

Poured into a Jameson Irish Whiskey glass:
- Light golden liquid, medium white head.
- Beautiful light hoppy floral fruity aroma. Top quality.
- Amazing balance, only lightly sweet, grapefruity flavor, noticeable acid, but not too acid(whereas for example, S.N. Hefeweizen is too acid). For the alcohol content it has, it is not 'too sweet', and it is not 'mellow'. This is a lively refreshing and very nourishing feeling beer(though on the lighter refreshing side, but not too light, it has standard punch),...as part of a balanced diet.
The best. Amen!

App: "Fizzy Yellow Beer", almost clear, solid white head with some very nice lacing and retention.

Nose: Lemon, pungent yeast, salty crackers.

Taste: Clean, crisp, banana nut bread, calm, and a smooth malty texture.

Notes: This is what a pilsner tastes like when professional brewers concentrate. Worth the price, whatever it was.

A: A straw color with a slight chill haze and a finger's width white head that laces the glass.

S: Bready malt with a fresh earthy, grassy hop aroma.

T: The hop is immediately noticeable with a floral and earthy flavor that overpowers the malt. There is a very slight bready malt flavor and a slight sweetness. It finishes clean with a slight floral hop.

M: Light with good carbonation. Very refreshing.

O: I like the aroma and flavor of this beer. Pilseners can be hit and miss. This was a good one.

Review = from notes
Had on Draft at SP pizza tavern

A - Perfect golden blonde with a pure white head with about a fingers worth of pure white head.

S - A nice sweet fruity aroma. Coming from Rogue i'm assuming it's juniper berries.

T - It's not strong but there is some sweet fruit flavor to this. The sweet malt overwhelms most of the fruit, but has a good balance. (Not to sweet) Nice hoppy taste with a good bitter finish.

M - Perfect beer for a summer ball game. Nice crisp clean feel. The carbonation was spectacular. Such an easy drinking beer.

O - Fantastic beer, lots of floral, and sweet taste in a good balance. Not a lot of aroma, otherwise I would've gave it a perfect 5.

Poured into a Delirium Tremens snifter. There's a sticker on the bottle put there by the liquor store that says 11/16/2011.

A- Pours a light gold color with a 1/4 inch head that bears little retention and subsides to a thin ring around the edge of the glass while leaving a patch of surface foam and below-average lacing.

S- Smells clean and has that signature Czech pils aroma.

T- Pretty good. Light and crisp but has enough flavor to entice more sips. And, where other Czech pilsners just don't do it for me, this one has a nicer quality of bitterness and a lesser amount of the taste I've only ever been able to describe as "dirty." Maybe it's because Rogue's using their own hops and there are no Saaz hops.

M- Very spritzy and vibrant. Medium carbonation. Leaves the tongue a bit dry but it's so easy to drink that it's remedied by taking more sips.

O- I admit, when I realized this was a Czech pilsner, I was worried. I don't know if I've just had bad versions, bad bottles or what, but I just don't usually dig them. Still trying to figure it out. Good Chit is definitely an exception, though.

From a 650 ml brown bottle, import label stub lists abv. at 5.3%. Pours out a bright yest slightly hazed deep straw colour, tall fluffy white head that settles to a thick cap.

Clean grainy and biscuity malt on the nose, soft grassy hops.

Soft bready, biscuity malt up front in the flavour, dries out in the middle with leafy, grassy, mild herbal hops on the finish, a bit of spiciness into the aftertaste.

Light-bodied mouthfeel, silky texture, and assertive pin-prickly carbonation that adds some extra body.

Approachable, drinkable, no serious flaws. Doesn't strike me as a first pick when I'm craving a Pils, however Rogue does good by this one, the Liberty hops add a unique yet appropriate character to it.
