Pours deep mahogany/amber with orange hues and a white head that settles out to about 1 cm. Nose is pumpkin, a hint of cinnamon, nutmeg, some caramel, brown sugar, a little bit of raisin and fig and a bit more pumpkin. Most pumpkin ales smell mostly like spices but this one really smells like straight up pumpkin. The taste is more spiced than the smell. Nutmeg, allspice, cinnamon, pumpkin, caramel malts, brown sugar, molasses and raisins. Dogfish Head Punkin Ale has always been my favorite pumpkin beer but this year two have given it a run for its money, Epic Imperial Pumpkin Porter and this bad boy. I will be looking forward to this every year now. I hope I can get one more this year too. Rogue's Chatoe line has been pretty impressive.

Dark orange-y amber. Bordering on light brown. Deep color.

Sweet vanilla, pumpkin spices, clove, allspice, and nutmeg. Has a fervent spiciness, but the mellow sweetness is appealing. Malty and sonorous. Hops are at a premium around here.

Thinner flavor than expected. Vanilla, clove, cinnamon, and pumpkin flesh. Malty flavors with added hop bitterness. Spicy notes also reminds me of coriander.

Drinks pretty easy. Has a good bout of carbonation. Body is unmemorably medium.

A good pumpkin ale. I would recommend.

S: Nose is all pumpkin pie with notes of pumpkin, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and cardamom.

T: Dry and roasty with notes of pumpkin and grass.

Pours hazy copper with a large creamy head.
Nose shows cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves along with a soft but unmistakable pumpkin hit amongst sweet malty gingerbread notes.
More spices as flavours along with very subtle pumpkin, gingerbread and some herbal astringency. Wouldn't mind a longer-lasting sweet malty finish. Nonetheless, very enjoyable stuff.
Nice creamy mouthfeel. Could be just a little thicker though.

A: Deep hazy amber body with a thick creamy tan head. Good lacing and above average head retention.
S: Vegetal pumpkin, cinnamon & nutmeg aromas produce a very pleasing nose.
T: Flavors include roasted pumpkin & malt. Starts sweet, spiced middle and a lightly bitter clean hop finish.
M: Smooth medium bodied brew.
O: Good pumpkin beer that is more vegetal than spicy.
