A - Pours a dark opaque brown with a nice three finger head which slowly dissipates to a light cap and sticky lacing.

S - Heavy brown sugar and pumpkin pie spice; cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice. Minimal pumpkin smell, more like the baked pie smell than a fresh squash scent. A little more pumpkin shows through as it warms up.

T - Dark malt, slightly sweet at first with a hint of the spice. The pie spice comes in harder on the swallow, light pumpkin with a mild sourness and bitterness that smooths in the aftertaste.

B - Medium, bordering on light, body with medium carbonation. Goes well, could use just a little less bubbles.

O - Wow, this is an excellent pumpkin beer, as you would hope for from Rogue. Not missing any of the flavors you would hope for, just the right amount of pumpkin and not overdoing the sourness like so many others. My only complaint really is the carbonation is too high, but it certainly doesn't detract from the flavor. This is definitely one of the pumpkin ales I would use as a baseline to judge others and would probably grab a bottle next year.

Dark orange-y amber. Bordering on light brown. Deep color.

Sweet vanilla, pumpkin spices, clove, allspice, and nutmeg. Has a fervent spiciness, but the mellow sweetness is appealing. Malty and sonorous. Hops are at a premium around here.

Thinner flavor than expected. Vanilla, clove, cinnamon, and pumpkin flesh. Malty flavors with added hop bitterness. Spicy notes also reminds me of coriander.

Drinks pretty easy. Has a good bout of carbonation. Body is unmemorably medium.

A good pumpkin ale. I would recommend.

S: Nose is all pumpkin pie with notes of pumpkin, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and cardamom.

T: Dry and roasty with notes of pumpkin and grass.

M: Medium bodied, IPA-like carbonation.

Pours hazy copper with a large creamy head.
Nose shows cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves along with a soft but unmistakable pumpkin hit amongst sweet malty gingerbread notes.
More spices as flavours along with very subtle pumpkin, gingerbread and some herbal astringency. Wouldn't mind a longer-lasting sweet malty finish. Nonetheless, very enjoyable stuff.
Nice creamy mouthfeel. Could be just a little thicker though.
