22 ounce bottle - $8.99 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.

Appearance: Pours a lightly hazed, light yellow body with a moderate-sized, white, finely-textured head. Thin sheet of lace on the way down.

Smell: Pilsner malts, a little soft wheat detected, with a sweet-scented honeyish note throughout. Sliver of Granny Smith, a bit of waxed lips there, too.

Taste: Light pale malts, pilsner malts. A little touch of wheat. A bit of green apple precludes the honeyesque sweetness. Floral, moist herb hops. Low bitterness. A last hint of honey, waxed lips, apple, and now white wine on the drying, lightly yeasty finish.

Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium carbonation.

Overall: Well, if nothing else, it's a far, far better use of honey than that downright deplorable 19 Original Colonies Mead.

22oz bottle into a small tulip.
Slight hazy golden with a decent head.

Refined and appropriately mild beer. Nice subtle flavors with both bready and fruity aspects. Aroma is notably more bready than hoppy. Excellent balance.

O. Very refreshing and easy drinking. Super for style.

750ml mustard-yellow painted bottle. Ok, maybe it's a honey hue, but that's wasn't my first impression.

This beer pours a hazy medium golden straw colour, with two fingers of fizzy, tightly foamy, wan white head, which leaves a decent array of storm cloud lace around the glass as it evenly subsides.

It smells strangely, from first cap pop, of zesty, fruity white wine - apple, pear, and mild grapefruit pith - a soft vegetal honey sweetness, pale grainy, slightly crackery malt, and earthy, weedy hops. The taste is more of that fruity white wine essence, with a growing cat pee astringency, dry, musty honey, lightly crispy pale malt, and leafy, moderately floral hops.

The carbonation is quite tame and just a tad frothy, the body medium-light in weight, mostly smooth, and even a bit creamy. It finishes off-dry, the yeast coming out to play, and the crisp grainy malt and lingering fruity hops still creating an Okanagan wine tour etching, one which draws in the remaining honey as well.

A tasty enough Kölsch, if one which leans a bit too heavily on those other German pale alcoholic beverages for their fruity input - maybe it comes from the particular honey used here, but it was an interesting experience, and an agreeable twist on this specific old-world style.

750mL bottle served in pint glass. Beer pours as yellow as the label, very pale, and nearly clear of haze. Medium white head that falls quickly. Immediate aroma of honey, sweetness. Flavor is super crisp and easy to drink. All the flavors here are really subtle and well balanced, if on the sweet side overall. A little bit of German hoppage and a finish of honey on the lips. Carbonation is moderate and just right for the style. But very little in either the grain bill or the hop load to distract. This could be the world's most indulgent lawnmower beer.

Pours an effervescent gold with 2 fingers of pearl white head. Nice lacing & head retention, stays effervescent throughout

S: Honeysuckle, grassyness, floral hops,

T: Follows the nose, grainy notes as well up front, along with dryness & a touch of pear. Pears, honey, floral hops & some white grapes as this warms. Finishes crisp, fruity & refreshing

MF: Light/medium bodied, crisp carbonation

Drinks very easy, a very nice example of the style. Easily one the better beers Rogues has put out in a while
