Served on tap in a pint glass

Appearance – The beer is served a clear yellow-amber color with a one finger head of pure white foam. The head fades very fast leaving only a trace of lace on the sides of the glass.

Smell – The aroma of the brew is very light overall with just some biscuit and a little bit of a honey smell as well as hints of floral and grassy hops. Very light, but non-offensive overall.

Taste - The taste begins with a crisp bready flavor mixed with a little bit of a grainy flavor. While no honey is present upfront, as the taste moves on a honey flavor begins developing on the tongue with it gaining intensity more toward the end. Some very light floral flavors develop at the very end leaving a rather crisp and lightly bready flavor on the tongue.

Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is quite thin with a carbonation level that is on the higher side. Both are quite nice for the mix of honey and light grain, making for a crisp and more refreshing feel.

Overall – A rather refreshing brew overall with a nice easy drinking feel. It is nice for the price while on tap ( in comparison to other tap prices) but if going for the big bottle it is likely not worth the high price tag.

22oz bottle into a small tulip.
Slight hazy golden with a decent head.

Refined and appropriately mild beer. Nice subtle flavors with both bready and fruity aspects. Aroma is notably more bready than hoppy. Excellent balance.

O. Very refreshing and easy drinking. Super for style.

Bomber to pint glass...poured fast and hard, to get it aired out.

A: Light yellow body, slight haze, fair amount of visible carbonation. Bright white, fizzy head that diminished pretty fast leaving a fizzy cap on the surface.

S: Scent of biscuit malts, floral hops, and hint of honey.

T: Taste follows the nose. Biscuit malts come in early, but are attenuated with a hint of honey form the middle to the end. Slight bitterness, balancing the malts and honey sweetness.

M: Light to medium body, with a moderate amount of carbonation...yet feels solid on the palate.

O: Easy drinker. Mostly true to the style, though the honey adds something more. Fortunately the honey is subtle, and the artful use of hops to balance the additional sweetness with a very balanced bitterness makes an the easy drinker. This would be perfect with some light cheeses and crackers with fresh fruit on a patio at about 90 degrees. Very refreshing.

I poured a bottle into a tall mug.

Appearance- Slightly hazy pale golden color with three fingers worth of head. Nice ring of lace after every swallow.

Smell- Light aroma of grain, floral hops, and honey.

Taste- Pale malt, grassy hop, and clover honey flavors. Some sweetness after the swallow.

Mouthfeel- Light bodied with an average amount of carbonation. Very crisp.

Overall- A very enjoyable thirst quencher and a good summer beer.
