Picked this up on a whim because I'd never heard of the brewery and it was in a can.
Pours a cloudy copper-golden with a sizeable, somewhat thick off-white head. The latter looks craggy and sticky. Thick laces appear on the sides of the glass, but they are few in number.
Smells like light fruits, flowers, and some soap. Doesn't really smell like an American IPA. Consider my expectations officially lowered.
This is simply not an IPA. Malt and fruity flavors easily overpower hops, and it's pretty lightly flavored in general. Weak floral notes, peaches, apples... the too strong malt presence is composed of biscuity and caramelly flavors. This beer is much more sweet than it is bitter. Even if one were to judge this as a less hoppy style like an English pale ale or a blonde ale, it still wouldn't be very good. There is a terrible metallic edge to this brew, and the taste of soap is infused in every sip, greatly diminishing the overall flavor quality. The body is light-medium with good carbonation.
Based on this, I would hesitate before trying anything else from this brewery... on the other hand I am curious whether their other beers are this bad.

It’s a crappy IPA, but I used to drink it when I lived in Delhi New York. It’s a local option in rural NY that is better than a macro beer, and it is quite inexpensive.

This is not an IPA - flat hops. Very little floral notes. Tastes like a better carbonated British Ale. Ok - with a hint of grapefruit.
I pass. Too many great competitors in the market.
