I probably sat on this one for too long. By the time I drank it most all of the hops had disappeared. The flavor was mainly malt with a slight bitter hop bite. Good, not great.

Orange body with hints of Amber, huge, fluffy off-white head sits on top. Tropical hop notes combine with funky Brett. Flavor is much of the same, with the fruity hop notes being balanced out with funky, earthy Brett. Feel is medium bodie with high carbonation. Overall a nice take on a Brett IPA.

Cap says 9/4/2017. I bought this from a bottle shop that opened May 2014 on July 8, 2015. I enjoyed it in a Hopslam tulip/snifter.
This is my first experience with Brett. I drank this for IPA day but this is far from the beer I was expecting. This was similar to the experience I had drinking Jolly Pumpkin Weizen Bam Biere expecting a wheat and getting a sour. This is sour.
Look - Hazy but no sediment mango yellow. Thick white head. I started with an aggressive pour then poured down the side and still got two fingers. It had thick bubbles and died quickly. Little to no lacing.
Smell - Swirled I can pick up a faint hint of dank grapefruit and pineapple. It is mainly sour and sweet. There is grass.
Taste - Saison. It tastes like a saison. Grass, sweet, and sour. I get little to no pine and citrus. Vanilla in the after after taste (I am R Kelly).
Feel - Very carbonated. Medium mouthfeel. Little hop tingle on tongue.
Overall - Reading up on Brett I know it is expected to be a saison or flanders. I was about to rip it a new one for the style points. Is this a beer I want to drink on IPA day, no. Is it an okay beer, yes. I won't buy it again. As it warmed the only difference was more head and more lacing.

There's a bit of funky yeast character going on, almost clove and medicinal phenols, with resin and muted citrus hops as relief. Flavor is muted and bitter.

We did a side by side between this Mikkeller Brett and the Evil Twin Femme Fatale Brett. This was the winner in my book. Very clean and good hop presence all the way through.
