From the can, it pours a hazy amber with a huge head, dissipating slowly, while looking fluffy. The head stays for a while. Floral scents in the nose. The mouth gets the malt with a touch of bitterness. Enjoyable.

Pours foggy copper red amber with a creamy frothy off-white light khaki colored foam head. Smells like bitter resinous floral herby pine, some deep rich amber toffee caramel malts, melon, berry, grape, orange grapefruity citrus pith, with some spicy earthy grass. Tastes like rich deep roasty caramel toffee malts, melon, berry, grape, orange grapefruity citrus pith, with bitter resinous floral herby pine and spicy earthy grass. Feels medium-light bodied, slick and creamy with moderate low carbonation. Overall a nice malty IPA.

Served 38F from the 12 ounce can into a 16 ounce tulip. No canning date on can.

Coloring is a very rich dark copper. Almost a reddish brown. This is very dark and red.

Nose is floral and earthy, grassy and malty.

Super sweet sugar bomb. The strongest flavor is unfermented malts here. Basically like drinking liquid malt syrup with some grassy hops on the backend that linger. This is unbearably sweet and is essentially diabeetus in a can. I am not a fan of the hop and malt combination used here either. If you are North American IPA drinker you too may not like this formula and half finished product. It uses that British IPA formula that is way too abrasive and bitter, with no balance and maximum sweetness.

Texture is very syrupy and not pleasant on the palette. Carbonation is heavy due to the yeast fermenting all the remaining sugars.

MALTY! This is supposedly fresh. Underlying flavors of orange, black tea and grapefruit pith. Super dry. Tastes more like an American style Barleywine than ipa.

Poured from a 12 ounce can into a cylindrical glass. Best by 18 April.
4/3.5/4/4.75/4
Pours surprisingly dark. A mellow brown, very hazy, just barely transparent. A finger of head fizzes and fades.
Smells malty-hoppy and slightly metallic. Brown ale-ish.
A luscious mouthfeel and unfiltered hoppiness hit first, then the sort of brownish malt I smelled. The finish is brief and nutty. Either faded or muted hops put me in the mindset of Williamette or Cascade...something American but herbal.
A really great sort of "brown IPA" -- recommended!! Very satisfying.
