Bottle from LCBO
This beer is totally opaque. There is an unusual whiteness to the apricot colour. One inch of white head. Fine carbonation at the surface. Good lacing.
Pungent pine resin with sour milk in the aroma. Not the fruitiness that others report.
The taste was somewhat single dimensional. Despite the 4 kinds of hops it all came out as pine and sour mild. Some grassiness in the aftertaste. The taste did not linger in the mouth for a ridiculously long time.
Medium dry feel with a puckering tartness.
An OK pale ale but with so many great AIPA out there I will not need to sample this one again.

330ml bottle, also known as Efterår/Vinter 2014 (Autumn/Winter).
This beer pours a somewhat hazy, medium tarnished golden amber hue, with three fingers of puffy, rocky, and kind of bubbly off-white head, which leaves a bit of sudsy limestone arch lace around the glass as things quickly dissolve into the ether.
It smells of sharp wet pine needles and herbal forest detritus, a twinge of unused disposable baby diaper, grainy, bready pale malt, phenolic yeast, well overripe oranges, receded tropical fruit (pineapple core and mushy kiwi, mostly), and a suggestion of cold steely alcohol. The taste is more edgy pine resin and herbal grassiness right off the bat, with some musty pineapple, peaches, and white grapefruit, a loitering sour yeastiness, gritty, and unassuming pale malt, and a touch of dry white wine acerbity.
The bubbles are pretty played-out and flat-seeming, barely a frothy tickle to be had, the body medium-light in weight, and not all that smooth, both the yeast and plodding hop bitters spoiling the show. It finishes fairly dry, weirdly, the malt having turned tail, while the sketchy hops and overstaying yeast sadly fill (so, mind) the gap.
I guess if any blame is to be meted out here, up front, it should be directed towards the naming convention herein, which causes the meeker local liquor store purchasing policies to avoid any new releases of this biannual offering, due to the fact that they still have a bunch of the previous release kicking around. Yeah, anyways, late 2014's version isn't bad, per se, but I do wish I'd had a go at it around when it came out, and not in late JUNE, the following year.

I'm thinking this might be a different version than what's listed on here. 5.9% ABV, brewed with citra, chinook, amarillo, and simcoe with the addition of pineapple. Just picked up at the LCBO.
The body is a pithy marmalade orange. After a quick pour, three fingers of fluffy snow white head is yielded . Sheets of lace coat almost every inch of the glass. Its unfiltered quality gives it a meaner look. I like it.
Heaps of fresh pineapple and ripe mango burst out of the glass. Very potent. Edges of leafy, piney hops add some complexity to this ridiculously fruit forward APA. Warm biscuit gives it some backing.
Its leafy, piney hop character has more of a kick to it in the taste but the mounds of tropical fruit, especially pineapple definitively take center stage. Its sweet fruitiness stays on the center of the tongue as a quick flash of bitterness moves around it. The finish is quick and concise.
I really enjoy its creamy richness. It still sits at light to medium bodied. A tad lower than average carbonation. This is very, very rounded. I was expecting more of a punch of bitterness but it remains tamed throughout. Quite sessionable.
A straight shooting APA that's good from start to finish. For those that love fruit forward APA's/IPA's, this is definitely worth a try.

Pours cloudy straw with a sticky, patchy small head. Light orange, pineapple and aspirin hop notes mingle with a grainy malt balast. Shortlived, lightly bitter finish.
A decent enough pale ale, somewhat stayed in the hop department. Seems like it's not at peak freshness which is crazy since the expiry date on the bottle cap is June 2016.

The colour is gold (8 EBC), the liquid got some chill haze. The beer is bottle conditioned. The creamy white head is two fingers high, it sinks slowly leaving lots of lacing on the glass.
The smell is smooth with citric hops, mostly grape fruit. Sweet notes of sour candy and bitter orange marmalade. Green plants and tree sap in the background.
The taste is first sour-bitter. Then, the flavours fades leaving room for quite mild notes of grape fruits, gooseberries, lemons and white currants. Hints of tree sap. Medium body. The smooth aftertaste got growing bitter-sweet notes, citric peels, fruit candy and hints of dough. The finish got grape fruit and gooseberry flavours.
The carbonation is strong, the mid-sized bubbles are short-lived. The liquid is light and a little sticky.
A smooth and drinkable APA, although I can understand that the distinct sour-fruity flavours of the Nelson Sauvin aren’t appreciated by all drinkers.

Hazy orange, yellow beer with a one finger high, white head.
Nose: Grass, citrus, orange zest, grapefruit, hoppy and fresh!
Taste: Nope! I don't know if its me today but this is not as good as earlier K:rlek... Sour, salty, grapefruit and a little bit of citrus.
Mouth: Medium carbonated. Waterish taste. A good bitterness at the end.
Sorry Mikkeller - You woun't get my love this time!
