Reviewed from my notes. Served in a flight of three Mikkeller single hop IPAs. This beer, made with New Zealand hops, has a deep burnt orange color. It's capped by a thin head of tiny tan bubbles. The liquid appears hazy and opaque. The aroma is crisp and cool and full of citrus hops. The first thing I taste when I sip the beer is a toffee malt flavor. It quickly gets overcome by a sweet bitter pine taste. The finish is a subtle but sharp bitter aftertaste. It has a medium body and average carbonation. The coat is sticky but isn't overly sweet. It feels fuller that it actually is. This beer is more of a sipper than the Simcoe Single Hop IPA, due to its heavier body. I still find it to be quite drinkable. I wouldn't want to more than on 12oz pour in a row, though.

330 ml. can. Hazy amber color with beige head. Aroma has some fermented grapes, old hops and light cardboard. Taste follows with the fermented fruit, some toasted malts, light earthy bitterness at first but intensifies towards the finish and lingers with grapefruit peel flavor on the aftertaste. Medium body and carbonation. As with the other beers from the new, canned Single Hop series, it's quite disappointing.

Darker, light brown appearance for an india pale ale? Good head development, just under 1", off white. Good lace. Aroma was good, hit those funky earthy citrus Nelson hop notes, one of the more unique hops and it comes through here.
Taste wasn't as pungent, and the malt bill was too much to show off a single hop beer. I don't get that. Price is expensive, almost could get a Sierra Nevada 6 pack for the cost of one of these 12oz bottles.

Bottle from Cindy's Spirits. This comes off more as an English IPA, dark and very mild bitterness. Hazy dark amber with a skin of a head, but leaving sheets of lacing down the glass. Brown bread, ginger snaps and caramel. Not outstanding in any one aspect, but the whole package is pretty good.

From tasting notes. Floral spicy hop aromas blend with rich malts. Pours hazy amber under a 1” cream colored persistent foam collar that provides thick lace. The hops are assertive with big melon but are well balanced by rich malt flavors. Creamy, medium full body and very soft carbonation. A delightful, well hopped beer.

Teku glass. Bottle. Deep amber, little hazy with medium, densed white head. Fairly lasting. Medicore lacing. Fresh vinous aromas, with hints of citrus (orange), also light floral aromas. Taste is medium bitter (grapefruit like), earthy and little harsh. Good malty background. Tasty, refreshind and quite drinkable IPA.
