I drank this beer while bottling up my Citra IPA. Now I'm eating and watching the Gints take on the Phils. This beer is darker than I remember the single-hop IPAs being, but it could be the light. There was a thick white head with big bubbles - they're gone now, though a single layer of little bubbles remains. It smells like a combination of all 9 of the single-hopped IPAs... No, seriously. You really can taste the reason why brewers use multiple hops in a single beer (Thanks, KPKG). I like the malt balance with the hops. Nothing is significantly overpowering. To date, I haven't really enjoyed a lot of Mikkeller's beers - they always seem to have this strange boozy off-flavor that I am not accustomed to in American IPAs. But with this beer, Mikk's growing on me. It's good, drinkable, yes, feels good in my mouth (mouthfeel), yes.

A: Poured amber to red in colour (quite beautiful really) with a relatively dense 1/2-1" head which maintained throughout the duration of drinking it.

N: Fruity and floral hoppiness that wasn't super complex, but still pretty interesting. The nose sets you up to expect some decent hops without being ridiculous like some of the NA IPAs out there right now.

T: Bright floral/citrus flavours come through right away with a pretty intense lingering bitterness from the hops, but nothing too crazy since the noticeable maltiness comes through by the end.

M: Medium-heavy bodied (not surprising considering the style and the ABV); it coats the mouth in a pretty nice way.

O: I was really pleased with this and am happy to have bought a bottle. If you're bored with domestic/North American IPAs, give this a shot as it definitely gives them a run for their money.

(An 11..2oz bottle poured into a pint glass, bottle date-stamped on the cap: 24/05/12)

A - Burnt orange and cider like with a small head.
S - Hops. Pine, Flora and carmel a bit sweet.
T - Tropical, Citrus, Pine, Grapefruit, and Bitter. Nice balanced malty backbone.
M - Medium body and a creamy feel.
O - Brewed with 10 strains of hops and an interesting blend.
