The beer is clouded deep amber, has curtains and an off-white head leaving lacing.
The smell is very complex, loads of different fruits, passion fruit, pomegranates, herbal and floral scents, sun-warm hay.
Upfront a taste of sweet dark bread, the citric and tropical fruits, a herbal almost yeasty nuance and lots of citric zest.
Medium high carbonation, a very complex body and profile, a round dry finish.
As mentioned a very complex beer, loads of nuances in taste and smell.

Murky, dark orange hue.
Huge, white, foamy head; strong lacing throughout.
Smells strongly of malts with a whiff o' hops.
Chewy mouthfeel, almost like a barleywine.
The malty sweetness up front in the taste also reminds me of barleywine; the 10 hop varieties present hardly get past the malt. Which is OK; this is hardly a run-of-the-mill IPA. Perhaps it's a bit old and the hops have faded? Touch o' bitterness on the back end. Pretty drinkable for being so chewy, but ultimately not great.
