330 mL btl.

Cloudy amber pour that is actually quite dull. 1 finger moderately dense frothy head that settles to a spotty film with solid ring that is kept alive by good carbonation. great lacing

Semi-sweet roast (slight chocolaty note) malt with a very subdued fragrant hops.

zesty bitter citrus pith and creamy tropical fruit sit on a lightly toasty bread and chocolate malts. Leafy and floral hops kicks in slightly before a citrus peak flows into the mildly bitter hop finish.

Medium bodied with very lows levels of carbonation that leaves it slightly syrupy with a zesty crisp peak on the front of the palate before it finishes with a slightly tart yet lush finish.

Yeah its a little old, but I still expected more. Its a little muted and lacks both punch and brightness. I know its a little old and these are the first things to go, but It take forever to get to where I live. the hops grows a little as I finish the beer but doesn't get to a level I would consider an american IPA

Poured from a 333ml bottle into a tulip. Best before date on the cap (assuming that's what the date means) is 13/03/14

A - slightly cloudy amber/amber with fluffy tan head that leaves streaky, sticky lacing down the glass. Small edge of lacing left around the glass.

S - pine resin and a subtle background fruit (hard to place - apricot?)

T - nice sharp resinous attack with a solid bready malt backbone. More resin than citrus fruit. Solid enduring bitterness throughout but weight only slightly on the palate in the aftertaste. Surprisingly balanced, though the malt never quite breaks through.

M - medium bodied with medium carbonation. No oiliness or booziness.

Overall it feels like a very balanced IPA though without any particular stand out qualities; perhaps that's the side effect of using 10 different hops. It's almost like a "meta" beer that has hints of lots of others, but never really defines itself.

A: Pours a very lightly hazy copper in color with light amounts of visible carbonation. The beer has a two finger tall dense foamy beige head that slowly reduces to a thick film covering the entire surface of the beer with a couple of medium sized thick patches and a thick ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate to significant amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate to strong aromas of hops - primarily citrus and grapefruit but there are some lighter notes of floral hops.

T: This beer has a light body of caramel malts with some light amounts of sweetness before the hop flavors take over. The dominant hop flavor is that of the grapefruit and citrus with some lighter hints of floral hops. The beer is not overly bitter.

M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Crisp.

O: This is a very enjoyable beer and one I'm glad that I selected but I think my expectations were maybe a little too high - I really expected something more complex and amazing as the sum of the 10 single hop beers.

Pours a hazy copper brown with a beige quarter inch head that leaves a rim of foam.

Grapefruit, resin, pine, and caramel malt comprise the aroma, which is fairly bready.

Toasted, bready caramel malt forms the backbone of the flavor, with notes of citrus pith, skunk, and a hint of grapefruit, and a slightly bitter finish. Hop character seems a bit muddled and dirty, on the earthy side.

Body is on the heavy side of moderate, with moderate carbonation. There's a bit of warmth at the finish.

Overall, a disappointing example of the style. Malt almost tastes burnt, likely due to the addition of brown malt. Hops are not as clean and bright as I hoped.

A - The beer pours with one finger of off white foam on top of a hazy, golden brown body. The foam fades away quickly but leaves thick curtains of lace on the glass.

S - A spicy hop aroma with notes of pine and sweaty hops as well as some caramel.

T - Rich caramel and bready malt with some pine hops. Darker Bread notes in the middle and a finish of burnt toast, pine, and pithy grapefruit.

M - Medium thick body, moderate carbonation, and a fairly dry finish.

D - Not bad, I enjoyed the 19 better as the hops seem to have faded a bit with this one. Regardless of the age, the malt is a bit too dry and charred for my taste.

A: 1.5 finger head with good retention on cloudy crimson body. Nice lacing.

S: lots of candied citrus, raisin and maltiness with resin and floral notes.

T: resiny, floral and earthy hop notes finishing with a tangy citrus flavor. Strong malt presence throughout. Peppery notes as well, best noted in the finish.

M: creamy smooth body and moderate carbonation.

Overall: An interesting IPA. Not as good as 19 was. Worth trying.
