A 330ml bottle with a BB of Oct 2018. Purchased a while back from the Brewdog webshop. The label calls it a chipotle porter.
A: Poured into a tulip. Bottle conditioned. A very dark brown hue that appears pitch black in the glass. Produces a large head of creamy chocolate-coloured foam that lasts for a few minutes before subsiding to a patchy surface layer.
S: Aroma of rich roasted malt with hints of fruitiness, molasses, chocolate, subtle smokiness, faint coffee, yeast esters and a musty earthiness in the background. A deep, complex character that lingers - very nice.
T: Tastes of rich dark malt with notes of roasted grain, fruitiness, molasses, subtle chocolate, mild smokiness, a twinge of coffee, earthy yeast and a touch of chilli spice in the background. Slightly sweet, with an understated malty bitterness upon swallowing.
M: Mouthfeel is smooth and tingly, with soft carbonation and a velvety body. A subtle chilli heat tickles that palate and slowly builds as you drink. Could be a shade more textured. Aftertaste of roasted malt, fruitiness, light bitterness, faint smoke and a delicate spicy heat.
O: Lovely - a rich, complex porter with layers of flavour. Looks great, while the aroma and flavour are a superb blend of roasted malt, fruity notes, molasses, mild smoke and faint chilli. Good body; perhaps just a twinge more carbonation is in order. The use of chipotles is well judged, adding complexity and depth to the character without excessive palate-killing heat. Another excellent brew from Mikkeller; worth sampling if you have the chance.

330ml bottle poured into a snifter
Pitch black in color, it tops with a finger of foamy tan head that stays with decent retention before sinking to a long-lasting bubble sheet on the surface and leaving lots of lacing here and there.
The aroma is intense with lots of espresso, cocoa, and dark yet creamy chocolate. Roasted malt with some smoke, along with charcoal, tobacco, burnt wood, caramel, dark bread while chipotle yields some spiciness undertone together with citrusy hop.
Heavily roasted malt in the lead with its sourness of roasted coffee bean, then it is dark chocolate, cocoa, espresso, some smoke, charcoal, tobacco, burnt wood, slight sweet caramel, and dark bread. Hop provides some bitterness and citrus while chipotle thereafter reveals with some peppery spice that is nicely complement with all the other characters. The aftertaste is a bit lingering with roasted profile and some residual spiciness.
Medium body with some bold touch through the palate, smooth through the mouthfeel with good crisp and moderate carbonation, finish is pleasantly dry.
The equation for this is that Porter+Chipotle equal to delicious treat, another good mixture and creation from Mikkeller.

Appearance: A deep and dusky black with a 2 finger light brown fine igneous volcanic rock like head. The larger foaminess of the heads speeds away in short order, but there remains a good deal of crown and small farms of foam that maximize the surface area of the kingdom.
Aromatics: An odd citrus tang sits under an otherwise aromatic mix of caramelized plums and dark chocolatey with roasted coffee. I can barely sense the chipotle, which I’m hoping is going to hypothesize is going to be fairly mild in the flavour, but the smokiness it generates in the smell is there just as an accent though.
Taste: Ooooh… yeah, thank the chili gods I was not disappointed. A great smokey chipotle flavour as if it were stained through a dark roast coffee and then set to absorb some hickory and oak embers. It is a super dark and moody flavour with a gentleness in the chili spice which tastes like it has been sprinkled on a bowl of toasted shredded wheat cereal with hints of sweetened malt blending it together like the leftover sugar-milk at the bottom of the bowl.
Palate: Slightly bolder than straight medium, The carbonation is really nice, it moves the spice heat around the palate superbly. The spiciness likes to build up over time - and if you are a chili fan, than you will appreciate this one a lot. Aside from the warming heat there really is no other linger after effects in the finish. As expected.
Overall: I am impressed. I love chili stouts a lot and this porter does not disappoint at all. It has a fantastic balance of natural porter-ness and pepper, definitely doesn’t let the chipotle run amok.
Pairing : Oh the things I would love to pair with this, or even cook with it… So I think the first thing I would try would be my 10 bean chili. I normally make it with brown sugar to sweeten it, but I think I would cut that down quite a bit and build up the chiptoleness - make it a bit more spice based. Chipotle chill powder, smoked paprika, and fresh oven roasted onion, sweet red peppers, and maybe a couple of jalapeño to add in as well… and I think normally I would make this with no meat - I would make this one with some fine chunks of a decent steak - t-bone or even stewing beef would work (just no hamburger).

Poured to a tulip.
A: The body is opaque black with a very brown head. Lacing is average.
S: The aroma is very soft having only coffee that's not very prominent. Roasted barley can be felt if you really focus.
T: The taste is very sweet that has a strange tone of smokiness. The taste is simply coffee, roasted malts and smokiness.
M: The smokiness provides some acidity to the best that connects very well with little bitterness present here. Density is spot on.
O: Again, Mikkeller and stouts. This is heaven.

Black crude oil, no carbonation, a half finger of dark, deep brown chocolate foamy head.
Cocoa, hot sauce, slightly acidic, tar, freezer burnt dark chocolate.
Cocoa, chocolate, then turns hot, spicy, then goes into a hot sauce like Crystal's or Franks with notes of acidic sourness, then mixes again with cocoa.
Medium thick, oily body, low carbonation.
Got on Wish beer, drank in Chiangmai Sept 5th, 2016 sitting beside my wife on our bed. Really well done brew. I've had their Mexas Ranger which is hard to beat, but this one is excellent.

Black with a brown head.
Malts are real potent.
Chipotle doesn't immediately present. The base stout is quite rich, though. Campfire character, more so graham cracker than smoke. Dry heat builds, though and adds more than a subtle accentuation. Not quite Bomb! but I passed on this one too many times.
Thick.
