Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle.

The beer pours a golden color with a large white head. The aroma is light funk with some wheat, lemon and yeast notes. The beer is not as funky smelling as some gueuzes, but you can definitely tell what style it is.

The flavor is a great mix of fruit and funk. I get some lemons and oranges, but I also get light funk and light to medium tartness. There is also some tart green apple in the flavor.

Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Not the best gueuze I have ever tried, but a very solid example from Mikkeller.

On-tap at the Mikkeller pub in Copenhagen.

Pours an almost opaque copper color with a half-finger white head. The head dissipates into a wispy layer on top leaving solid lacing.

Smells of pale malts with large amounts of funk. The funk overruns everything else but allows hints of tart fruit aromas to waft out.

Tastes very similar to how it smells. Pale malt flavors up front are quickly overtaken by large amounts of funk - wet hay and earthiness. The ending is mildly crisp.

Mouthfeel is good. It's go a nice thickness with active carbonation.

Drinkability is good. I finished my glass without any problems and could have another.

Overall I thought this was an interesting beer but was not quite as polished as the best beers of this style. Still, it's worth a shot.

375ml bottle, 5.3% ABV. Now without fruit!

This beer pours a cloudy medium golden amber hue, with two fingers of broadly bubbly, foamy off-white head, which leaves a few aspirational mesa cliffs of lace around the glass as it steadily recedes.

It smells of grainy pale malt, sour lemon, sharply lactic funk, a more understated tart apple/pear fruitiness, and some softly musty woodiness. The taste is sour, tart apple 'fruit' essence, a doddering pale grainy maltiness, some middling aged, thought still sassy lemon, a fading fast earthy funkiness, some lingering oakey mustiness, and an herbal, grassy character.

The bubbles are a tad peppy, and strong enough to keep things alive, the body a stolid medium weight, and generally smooth amongst the piddling acid and hop challengers. It finishes just on the off-dry side, the inherent fruitiness of the malt somehow keeping up airs, in the face of the lingering sour, musky, yet still neutered funk.

An actually approachable gueuze, in that the acidic nature isn't quite tooth-scrapingly tart, as the fruitiness is weirdly achieved sans guest fruit adjunct. The wood goes far here, at least in the subjugation of the funk, making for an overall pleasant walk in the park for the style. Worthy, and agreeably drinkable.

Yellow-orange colour, generous andsome topping head. Smells geuzy, with a little funkiness, also fresh. Initial the taste is tart, and then lots of malt, a long finish. Sweet aftertaste. Nicely drinkable. Brett anyone? My bottle from Quebec buying club.

Poured from a 375ml bottle into a 'Maises Brau' tall vase style glass.

Looks a treat, clear golden with a good finger and a bit of fluffy white head with lots of bubbles dancing upwards to escape!

Smells of lip puckering sourness, farmyard, a mixture of fruits/berries and a good old countryside aroma in general!

Simple, clean tart sour lemon/citrus taste with other fruit in the background, definately a hint of apple/pear and maybe some green berries - gooseberries or the like. Sour aftertaste as one would expect and the palate is left clear and refreshed.

Mouthfeel was good, but perhaps a little overcarbonated compared to other beers of this ilk?

Overall a good take on a Geuze and would drink again!

Appearance. Pours a hazy gold-amber with a big, 2+ fingers of off-white head.

Smell. Sweet juicy fruits - peaches, pears, apples and some berries and light funk. Getting a sea-salt smell from this as well.

Taste. Sour and bitter under-ripe fruits. A little dry and musty funk.

Mouthfeel. Medium body, medium-strong carbonation.

Overall. Decent beer, but the light bitterness isn't really doing it any favours.

Bottle: Poured a medium amber color beer with a super huge slightly off-white head with perfect retention and some very good lacing. Aroma consists of sour green apple notes with light funky notes also discernable. Taste is a semi-complex mix of green apple notes some light funky notes and subtle barnyard flavours. Body is about average with great carbonation. Well brewed and nicely drinkable and somewhat similar to Girardin with maybe a bit more acidity and less barnyard notes.

Drank from my Cantillon Geuze glass

A - Pours a cloudy orange colour with a nice foamy white head that retains well

S - Horse blanket and zesty fruits and yeast

T - Up front some nice sour lemon zest notes with a nice green grape flavour that fades into a long sour finish.

M - Light to medium body and light to medium carbonation.

O - I can't see a lot wrong with this beer. It has balnce and sourness that is the equal of a lot of established Lambics. The finish is a little sticky. Maybe a little more carbonation is needed.

Clear golden color with a fizzy white head.

Crab apple with a light malty sweetness. Some funky cider aroma.

Light funky floral brett with a dry finish. Spritzy on the tongue. Very mild sourness and green apple. Refreshing.

I don't really know the story behind this beer or how it was made. This really struck me as having a cider flavor and aroma that stood out. I just found similarities in the funkiness and slight apple flavor. Overall the beer either seemed too young or was made to be too subtle in flavor.

Bottle shared by Sammy, 750ml into a tulip. BBD of May 26, 2020, I think we got to this one in time.

Poured an orangeish yellow, translucent with a foamy white head - 2+ fingers in height. Good retention. Nose is lemony, light oak and a light sweetness as well. Some funky notes and hints to some more tart notes that I hope become apparent in the palate. Taste is tart lemon, some breadinesss and a good balancing sweetness to keep the tartness in check . Slight oakiness near the finish. Medium high carbonation, with a moderate puckering to finish each sip. Sweeter than most gueuzes I've had, and very drinkable all around. I could easily revisit this.

An amber slightly hazy beer, an off-white head that leaves some lacing.

The smell is fruity sweet, then sourness, grapes, rhubarbs, some vinegar. Earthy aromas, stable, dirt. Yeast.

Initially dextrose, then lemon, green apples, rhubarbs and vinegar.

Medium high carbonation, minimal bubbles, very refreshing and a dry sourness at the end.

A very fresh and accessible Gueuze. Tasted at a beer sampling at De Klomp, Linköping, Sweden.

The pour is a hazy golden color with a white head. Moderately funky with lots of dirt, mushroom, must, and grass. A light pepper aroma in the background. Lemon and lemon zest provide a light tartness. The flavor is a bit more oak forward, though still rather funky. Mildly tart, some grass, and moderate funk. Has a bit of a young homebrew sour flavor.
