A: The first pour yielded one of good clarity, sunset orange with a strong raging effervesce inside. A foamy tan head sits monstrously ontop, almost to the point of filling half a glass worth with a lasting effect leaving a snake band lacing of good coverage. A second pour sent a ice-berg of foam breaching forth and upward, sturdy and dense in nature while the clarity became a bit cloudy.
S: Fresh citrus and grapefruit, nice level of strength at first out of the bottle, slowly diminishes there-after. No signs of the coffee just yet.
T: Hoppy fresh grapefruit with a touch of peppery citrus and pine are forth-right and of good strength. Fresh grassiness comes in on the close perhaps with a slight indication of ice coffee mingling with a flowery citrus. Had my doubts about a coffee ipa, though it would come off more as a hoppy stout, but his is an ipa first, hoppy with just the right amount of ice cold coffee hints mixing with a caramel grain sweetness makes this a delight.
M: Medium bodied, flowery citrus with a peppery spice touch. Active carbonation, dry finish with floral hops rounding things out on the tongue.
D: Nice drinkability, kept me interested and looking forward to each sip to the very last. Great drinking ipa, solid recommend, expected nothing less from this brewer.

Tap at Lager Lager Berlin. Look is a nice orangey-amber clor with tiny head. Not too much hoppyness on the nose, neither coffee or malts, just anonym aromas. Taste is coffee but not as you would expect with a stout, everything here is weirdly well balanced between hops and coffee, you love it or hate it at first sip. Feel is what i liked the most on this beer: mid/low carbonation together with that creamy bosy that calls for another sip. Overal i enjoyed this one a lot, even though i think it wasnt relly fresh so the hopy character was kinda missing but a great beer that hooks you during the session.

Nice orange glow that you see with some of the better dipas out there, this looked nice, white head on it. Aroma was like, coffee? What coffee? Coffee ipa, and the coffee is entirely missing, and the hops are extremely muted? I'm sorry, this didn't smell bad, but it was totally underwhelming.
Taste just was devoid of coffee as well, and hops were underdone. I mean, you gotta really warm this up to pull any coffee or CTZ hops out of it.
Expensive to boot? Screw this beer.
