375ml. It's Alive, original info, is an ALL TIME FAVORITE.,.... 4.75 out of 5. I think. It fuuu cking rucks. This one? Unproven... but I am hopeful.

Into stella glass. Best I could muster up.. a bit out of my element.

A- Darker than I remember the original, big snowy head on this. prangey copper yellow.

S- smells like happiness. Brett, flowers, glowing good times. I want to freeze this beer int he winter and skate on it. Then unfreeze it in the springtime and drink it.

T- UM, THIS BEER IS EXACTLY WHAT I HOPED / WANTED.

all the goodness of it's alive! meets white wine barrel. Strong brett, lotsa golden ale goodness. Floral sweetness, honeysuckle. White wine tannins and tartness in the finish. OHMYGOD AWESOME.

M- Crisp, sweet, dry, zippy, mild for the ABV, full-bodied.

O- RARELY DO I SAY IT BUT WOW. this beer had high expectations. They were exceeded. I love It's Alive, and this is a nice twist on it.

gimme gimme gimme gimme gimme gimme more now now now now gimme it pour it down my face hole omg gimme more.

This beer r0xxx.

PS- this is one of the worst reviews I;ve ever written, but I like this beer, so get bent.

On tap at Bavarian Lodge.

A- orange to light amber with lots of lacing and retention.

S- citrus notes with nice dark fruit tartness and some funk going on.

T- almost starts like a weiss beer, but then the dark fruit tartness comes in, and a noticeable but not overpowering hop bitterness finishes of the beer.

M- thinner, with some dryness like a lot of wild beers

O- Liked this a lot. Didn't know what to expect but liked the result. Has a nice mix of the citrus fruits, dark tart fruits, and hop finish.

This beer smelly like fruit and wine and faintly of wood. It was frothy and bubbly and practically glowing. The taste was phenomenal -- smooth, gentle carbonation, with a silky and sweet wine-flavored accent. I loved how the wine flavor complemented the bubbly and light beer. It tasted both warm/welcoming and cool/refreshing at the same time. Would definitely drink again (if I can ever find it again).

12.7 oz bottle poured into a tulip. 8% alc by vol. Price: $14.99 in NJ.

Appearance
Really cloudy mahogany with 3-4 fingers of really creamy off-white head. Excellent head retention and thick clouds of lacing.

Nose
Pear, oak, potpourri, apple and barnyard.

Taste
Very, very oaky which is nice. Some nutty flavors come along for the ride. Nectarine, pear, tart green apple, peach and lemon juice. Big Belgian funk with horse blanket, potpourri and dried hay. Touches of white wine, coriander and pink peppercorn on the finish.

Mouthfeel
Medium bodied, clean, tart and dry.

Overall
Subtly tart with big barnyard and oak flavors. Very complex, dry and refreshing. No detection of the 8% abv. This is downright delicious!

a murky copper pour with 3 fingers of fluffy off-white colored head, tons of lacing. smells of funky brettanomyces, jasmine, wet hay, barnyard, flower petals, wine, skunks. the flavor profile is much more subtle than the aroma.. you get a nice tartness from the wine barrels, and a nice dry touch to the palate. the wild brett creates a TON of barnyard flavors.. it's like licking a horse.. in a nice loving way. then there's the flowery flavors i always pick up on brett beers.. that jasmine-like taste.

medium body, medium carbonation, dry and easy to drink.. the somewhat heavy abv is definitely well hidden, this drinks like a berliner weiss would.

ok, so this was $13 for a 12oz bottle. a little steep, but such is the world of good beers sometimes you just have to take risks and looks beyond the $$ value of a beer. in this case, i'm glad i did, it's a damn tasty brew.

A - Dark copper-orange with a finger frothy off-white head. Fades fairly slowly.

S - Sweet pale and caramel malts, vanilla, oak, white wine, funky and tart Brett, lemon zest, citrus hops.

T - Sweet pale and caramel malts, oak, vanilla, white wine, tart and funky Brett, lemon zest, citrus hops, some mild bitterness, hint of booze and acidity.

M - Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Smooth with a dry, tart, and funky finish.

D - Great mix of flavors with good tart and funkiness. The barrel adds some nice character.

Small foil-wrapped bottle.

Appearance: Mildly murky amber with a nice contrasting white head

Nose: Brett jumps right out of the glass here with a pungent barnyard and moldy cheese aroma. Lemon, bread, and a hint of rubbery petrol from the wine-barrel are also present.

Taste: The funky hay bale and gasoline combination is up front with savory notes like almond paste, bleu cheese and maybe even a bit of truffle present. It finishes with gasoline and oak.

Mouthfeel: A bit watery. Nothing special

Overall: Really interesting and different beer. The brett and wine-barrel combination here produced some flavors that I hadn't picked up in other examples of the style.
