Gusher alert! Poured (hastily) into a tall La Fin Du Monde snifter. The beer is a delightful murky red color with a bright, festive-looking pink head. Quick dissipation on the head. The nose is musty and has notes of wet grass and earthy, minty raspberries.
Medium body and a good feel brought on by a nice level of carbonation. The mouthfeel is very lively and welcoming without washing out the flavors. Flavor-wise, the beer is like Hawaiian Punch on the front of the palate for a split second, then BAM - you're on the express train to pucker town. Big intense sour notes of acidic fruitiness blast at your palate. It's like ripe cherries, plump raspberries, and juicy white grapes all swirling in the juice of a raw lemon. I'm loving this. I should also point out that the sourness does not fade away quickly. This beer has a really nice lingering finish.
This beer is a bit pricey at $12, but if you're trying to explore sours, sooner or later you have to plunk down more money than you'd like. I'm glad I tried this one. It was a very educational pour. I wouldn't advise this to someone new to sours. In fact, I might come back to it someday after I've had a few others.

Pours a hazy pinkish to ruby color, with lots of large bubble carbonation, soda-like. The head dissipates, but that isn't surprising.
The smell is mostly a funky sour. I get more cheese-mold type of funk cold, and the sour comes more as it warms. I do get a little fruit in the background, hard to tell if it's raspberry.
The taste starts a bit more fruity than the smell. The sour milk comes next, followed by the cheesy funk. However, it was nice to see the raspberry cone through more in the taste. The carbonation does die off eventually, but it does contribute to the feel, which is also a bit more chewy than I'd expect.
Overall this is a good beer, but it feels just slightly incomplete for me. The raspberry is hinted at, the sour starts to pucker, but then gives way to a cheese curd finish. Very interesting, and I would definitely have again, but it just needed something more to get to great for me.
