Bright pale gold with a billowing head of soapy white foam that slowly recedes after a few minutes. Some soapy suds stick to the edges in a sparse spotty pattern. Bright clarity with a slight haze.

Nice Brett aroma with some dried fruit and damp stable hay aromas.

Dry with a hint of astringency, lots of Brett in the taste as well. Doesn't come across like an IPA, more of a Brett Saison or BPA. Some earthy bitterness in the aftertaste. Grassy, yeasty, very dry. Hint of dried pineapple, a little horseblanket. This is a nice beer, not as out there as funkier bottles of Burton Bridge Empire IPA, more clean and well balanced. Worth a try, good intro to Brett for a novice.

A - Light haze on a light gold and wheat body. Rustic, foamy white head has nice retention and great lace.

S - Surprisingly deep. Earthy barn yard funk, sage, black pepper, lemon zest, hay, and fresh wheat.

T - Smooth bready wheat opening, funky hay center, dried grass and lemon zest finish. The bitterness is slightly waxy on the backend.

M - Medium body with par carbonation.

O - Interesting concept. The funk, waxy bitter, and lemon highlights are refreshing, but not necessarily sessionable.

Pours a clear light amber with one finger thick soapy white head, settles to a thin ring with a few blobs of lace on the glass. Smell: sweet-smelling flowers in bloom, grapefruit peel, whole melon, drying cut grass. Taste: dilute nectarine, lots of citric acidity without much definition, green banana, especially in the finish. Really nice fluffy feel, but then finishes a lot like green banana...chalky, sticky. Interesting and refreshing, but not among my favorite brett'd hoppy beers.

Served from a 11.2oz bottle into a LA Teku glass.

Appearance- Beautiful gold with one finger of soft white head that left nice lacing.

Smell- Tons of funky lemon, light vinager, green grapes, green apple, light citric hops.

Taste- Bitter lemon and hops, loads of bretty funk, light wheaty malt. Bitter finish. Dry.

Mouthfeel- Crisp, bitter, refreshing, dry.

Overall- I like this version better than the Hill Farmstead 500ml bottle version. This one has fuller hops, more citrus, and more brett funk.

Reviewed from notes. Poured from 12 oz. bottle into a Cigar City pint glass.

A: Pours a nice hazy gold, lots of visible carbonation, and a white head that fades quickly.

S: Pilsner and husky wheat, Brett funk, some lemony barnyard, and citrus and grassy hops.

T: Follows the nose primarily - citrus rind hops, Brett barnyard funk with a pinch of horseblanket, wheat malts with some pilsner flavor as well. Finishes with hop bitterness and lingering funk.

M: Light body, low alcohol presence. Well-carbonated but less so than the appearance suggested.

O: I do enjoy hoppy Bretted beers, and this one was enjoyable and easy to drink. Very glad I tried it, though not as good as a few of the others out there.
