Teku. Bottle.
App: Very dark brown with beige, medium, semi-densed head. Medium lasting. Poor lacing.
Ar: Roasted malts aroma - dark chocolate, coffee, dark fruits (plums), hints of menthol, tart and zesty lemon.
T: Again dark, roasted malts (coffee, chocolate), coffee and lemon acidity noticable, also some vanila, earthy aftertaste, soft notes of alcohol.
P: Dry, soft carbonation, oily texture, long roasted and bitter finish.

When you pour this beer, you get a typical Porter looking beer - Black with a big Tan coloured head. The head retention is absolutely great, owing to the Wheat in the brew. On the nose you get lots of Citrus/Orange notes, owing to the Yuzu and some Coffee and Chocolate undertones. There's also a bit of sweet Lactose in the Aroma too. When you taste this beer, you get a big initial kick of Coffee, followed by some Lactose sweetness and ending with the Citrus and Orange notes in the beer. The mouthfeel is quite light for a Porter and is a little more acidic than some beers. It finishes quite sweet. Quite lightly carbonated also. At 6% I can see myself drinking quite a few of these beers in one day

This was highly recommended and rated, but i found it to be average and disappointing after the hype and build up. It wasn't bad, but wasn't great.

Had it twice, first time was a bottle share from the bro in law and it was so good that I had him buy one just for my wife and I. There are few beers I crave and this is one of them.
The smell is seducing. The texture is light and silky. The flavor is a slight citrus to accompany a solid porter.
