A 330ml bottle with a BB of Jan 2016 (I think). Purchased a little while back from the Brewdog webshop. The label calls it a DIPA; hopped with Amarillo, Citra, Nelson Sauvin, Simcoe and Sorachi Ace.

A: Poured into a Duvel tulip. Bottle conditioned. A hazy marmalade-amber hue with good carbonation. Yields a massive head of creamy white foam that lasts for a few minutes before subsiding to a patchy surface layer. Some lacing.

S: Aroma of supremely fruity hops with hints of white grape, melon, grapefruit, citrus, passionfruit, tropical fruits, subtle grass/hay, earthy yeast and caramel malt. A whiff of booze in the background. Slightly sweet and delicious.

T: Tastes of intensely fruity aromatic hops with a powerful bitter finish. Notes of grapefruit, orange peel, citrus, pine, white grape, melon, tropical fruits, grass/hay, earthy yeast, sweet caramel malt and stewed hops. A touch of alcohol lurks in the background. Slightly sweet, followed by a strident, hop-driven bitterness upon swallowing.

M: Mouthfeel is smooth and tingly, with pleasant carbonation and good body. Somewhat astringent, accompanied by an aftertaste of bitter aromatic hops, grapefruit, pine, earthy yeast and mild caramel malt.

O: Excellent - a top-notch double IPA stuffed with hops. Looks great, while the aroma and flavour are relentlessly hoppy. Good bitterness and the booze doesn't come across excessively. Nice smooth body. A hop-head's delight; well worth sampling if you have the chance.

On tap army local whole foods. Poured a hazy, light caramelized Orange color with a 1/4 inch head that dissipates immediately. Lots of lacing on the glass. This beer has a very slight floral aroma with some pink grapefruit notes. Tastes light on the tongue, with noticeable hop bitterness and a slight oily feel. You get the citrus taste, grapefruit peel something else I can't identify but good. It feels like a soda when you drink it, no alcohol heat. This is a dangerous beer, you might think you can slam a few, but you'll get slammed back.

Poured a cloudy orangish body with one finger head and lace patches.
Aroma is mostly citric hops with a grassy feel and touch of sweetness.
Smooth body, well-balanced, I get a citric hop profile that is not too dry or bitter and retains some grapefruit sweetness, which mixes well with a mild caramel or toffee malt sweetness.
Finishes dry and easy, ABV hidden, and this is one of those DIPAs that you can just session b/c your tastebuds aren't nuked.

APPEARANCE: Burnt orange, amber, with solid head that faded fast, cloudy. Average lacing. AROMA: starts with malt grain, caramel, some citrus, floral and pine hops aromas, some pinneaple juice, some booze in the background TASTE: medium-sweet wtih bitterness in the middle. Starts with caramel flavours, than grapefruit. Finishes with strong hop flavours mostly citrus (grapefruit, orange peel). In general taste is more citrus and tropical, less floral with a bit of herbal character. PALATE: medium and thick body, medium carbonation, sweet and hoppy finish OVERALL: Really good DIPA. One of the best I’ve drunken with quite a lot of citrus and tropical falvours, moderate bitterness and balanced malty character.
