a deep brown/black pour with a finger of dark brown head.. beer poured VERY thick like motor oil.

aromas of vanilla beans, creme brulee, coffee, toffee, cocoa... this realy does smell fabulous, very sweet aromas, very dessert-like, very candy-like.

my goodness, this doesn't even taste like a beer.. tons of vanilla, coffee, milk chocolate, dark chocolate, creme brulee, licorice, roasted grains.. think of a stout, and then think of it tasting like a werthers original candy, but more vanilla than butterscotch. that's what this is pretty much.

a full body beer, very thick yet silky smooth going down due to low carbonation.

this is a fantastic beer, but the price may be a very hard point for some people. it's totally worth trying once, but such a small bottle for about $12 + shipping from belgium does hit the pocket hard.. since i was already placing an order with the site for a bunch of other beers, i decided to throw this on my cart, and am damn glad i did.

Served from bottle in a TG snifter

Pours deep dark brown with a thin half finger bubbly ecru head with min retention, moderate lacing.

Smells like a vanilla candle, pretty awesome, with a touch of booze and flaked oats on the nose. Taste starts with candi sweetness, strong vanilla notes, almost overpowering, with delightful oatmeal cleansing the palate and moderate warming booze that finishes the journey.

Very pleasant smooth, creamy, almost near watery body with moderate etoh.

Amazing strongly vanilla forward oatmeal stout with a great mouthfeel. Not worth $15 to buy another one at only 12oz but great to try once. You buy, and I will drink it....
