Picked this up from a shop in Portland while doing some Christmas shopping. The bottle describes this as a "Dry hopped sour ale aged in oak barrels." I had to have it.

Pours: Cloudy golden/orange with just over one fingers worth of head.

Aroma: Citrus, hops, sour wood, damp soil, yeast at the tail, creates a slight tickle in the back of the throat....this thing definitely smells wild

Taste: Very crisp followed by a mild pucker, like sucking on a lemon but refreshing. There's an unripe green grape somewhere in this bottle. The end is hoppy but mild as well. The balance between sour and hoppy is incredible. Neither overpowers or outshines the other.

Mouthfeel: Almost the same sensation as a club soda, which is perfect for this beer.

Overall: I was blown away by this beer. There is such a cohesiveness to everything about it from the first nose all the way to the final sip. I will definitely be going back to get more. This is a must try for anyone who enjoys sour and/or hoppy beers.

Pours out a very hazy, light blonde. The head starts at about an inch, sinks to nothing, no lace.

The smell starts very hop forward. Not strong, but plenty of citrus, pine, floral and grassy notes. Oak and sour yeast follow.

Pale malts, oak and an interesting jumble of hops are quickly followed by wild yeast, wine sour. I don't imagine this will age that well, but the soured hoppiness is tasty. A bit heavy on carbonation.

Very nice sour (again) by Mikkller and Toøl!
