The original Cisk Lager Beer is a golden-coloured, bottom-fermented lager with a distinctive and well-balanced character. Its rich hop aroma and pleasant bitterness has made it the natural choice and thirst quencher for beer drinkers who want to savour the original brew which has remained faithful to its recipe of 1929.
Recipient of a number of international awards since its launch in 1929, Cisk Lager Beer is popular any time of the year and consumed across the Maltese Islands, holding a strong presence at Malta’s traditional social band clubs, known as ”kazini”. On a hot summer day, it is best enjoyed chilled by the sea with friends. Just add a barbecue banquet or a selection of fresh shellfish and Cisk will be the perfect companion.

Brought this back from a recent trip to Malta. Poured pale yellow with a nice fluffy white head.
Aroma was nothing special, but the taste was clean and refreshing. Nice and crisp with good carbonation. If youre in the area this is definetly worth a try...basic but good.

Drank a couple of these while in Malta. A can on the beach, also a draft pint at a restaurant
clear, medium golden in color, white head. An okay pale lager for a hot day. A little sweet and grainy. thinner bodied.

Golden color with a thick two finger head with decent retention. Lots of apparent carbonation at first.
Aroma with notes of bread, lemon and orange drops and very mild floral.
Flavor with notes of floral hops, lemon drops and very mild cardboard. Dry aftertaste with a mild bitterness.
Watery body with appropriate carbonation.
Refreshing adjunct lager but easy to be forgotten. Nothing special and body is too thin, but it has no residual sweetness nor bothering off-flavors.

CAN
Clingy creamy snow cap over bright gold. 4
Sweet dough and grass. 4
Cracker, some husk, then mild grass. 3.75
Halfway to medium, snappy, slight cling. 4
This is… decent. Helles-sytle, mostly; sweet and low hops. But no flaws - that's something, considering it's an adjunct lager. Hurrah for British brewing culture. 3.75

Taste: Mild, citrus, grainy, thin, with a mellow nose. Pale gold semi clear with large foamy head. Lite body with a bit salty notes. Not a real robust lager

33cl Can from Jeremy. New country tick. all else, a cheap, grainy euro lager, watery, wet paper smell and taste. Not horrendous, but not that good either.
