Pours a cloudy, somewhat murky, brown amber color with a short creamy head. Nose is brown sugar with a bit of bubblegum. Taste begins with sweet candied sugar followed by a fruity yeastiness and a touch of alcohol. Pretty niceI was told it has improved with time as its now about 2 months old.

Pours a cloudy amber with minimal head. Nose is malty and sugary with some apparent esters.
Taste is toasty malt and candi sugar. Lots of fruity esters and a touch of banana, as it was fermented rather warm. Not enough to push it into weizen category but the distinct Belgian yeast strain is noticeable.
Mouthfeel is moderately light, a little lively with the carbonation. Originally intended as a dubbel, this came in a little lighter than expected and was renamed but is still a decent first attempt at a nondescript Belgian.
