Served on tap in a pint glass.

A- Dark reddish coloring with a decent amount of head.

S- Has a hoppy citrus like scent, though not very strong.

T- As is the theme with the other beers of their's that I have had, this one is not bitter enough for my liking.

M- Very smooth beer. Not too bitter or overpowering.

D- Very smooth and very drinkable beer.

Overall this is a solid IPA, just not bitter enough for me.

Serving type: on-tap

This is the Covey's single-hopped IPA with amarillo hops.

Came to me a copper body with a slight chill haze, thin head, and spots of lace on the glass after several sips. Aromas were a little faint, but the citrus from the amarillos. Has a sweet, toasty, malty backbone. This IPA is rather fruity with a mix of the fruity esters typical of many of the beers frmo the Covey, along with big, bright lemon flavors from the hops. The bitterness is not over-the-top. Ends with a slight doughy sweetness. Mouthfeel has a solid weight to it with relaxed carbonation. Considering the abv, along with its sweet edge, this never gets sticky nor slick. Impressive IPA all around that curbs the bitterness in favor of showcasing amarillo hops.
