This light copper-colored ale has a floral aroma from dry hopping, medium-high bitterness, medium body and finishes slightly malty.

Ok, so being from Topeka, I had to stop in a get some of this stuff. Didn't have much time, so I tried the Holy Grail.
Bright copper color, nice soft billowing head. Looks good, but thought a hand craft could use a bit more haze.
Anyway, smell is great. Soft pine and citrus mix in well with the raw caramel and herbal notes.
Tastes great as well. Nothing overpowering. The floral hops start out and are replaced by the soft pine, caramel and finishes a bit sweet. Temperature was just below room temp. A good brew. Easy drinking, couldn't stay for more.

Sampled in a 4 ounce glass while at the brewery/restaurant on May 31st, 2014 while in Topeka, Kansas for the weekend. Made some notes while sampling. Alcohol content is 6% (ABV) and 28 IBU's.
Served at the table so I didn't see the actual pour. The color is copper with a think white head. Lots of lacing is seen from the small sample glass. The aroma is of roasted malts and some grass. The taste is about the same with even a hint of pine as well as some floral. A slight crisp finish. Overall was a decent brew even though I'm not a big fan of Pale Ales. One of the better ones.

On tap at the brewpub in August 2009. Reviewed from notes.
Appearance is a moderate copper color with a white head. Some lacing. Nose brings some floral and pine hops as well as a pretty good amount of caraml malt. Taste is slightly bitter with the floral aspects dominaing. Slightly dry in the finish. Mouthfeel is medium with a fairly heavy dose of pale caramel malt. Drinkability is pretty good. Not a bad pale ale.

A - Poured an amber/copper color with a tan, two-finger head. Left tons of great lace.
S - Smelled of toasted maltiness and grasses.
T - Tasted very malty and sweet. Also, a good level of hops added a little bitter kick.
M - It was crisp and smooth. A medium-bodied beer.
D - Next to the Maibock, their PA is one of the best Blind Tiger beers that I have tried.

The strong tastes of berries and tart and sour fruit overwhelmed this beer, rendering the hops almost indetectible. The moutfeel is a little weak. It's pleasant and worth a shot, but the taste is relatively bland except for the fruit flavors, which tasted out of place. I like sour and tart tastes in many beers, but here they made the beer less drinkable.

Dark golden-red color with a light spicy and sweet aroma. The body is not too light and not too heavy supporting a decent amount of spice with a lighter malt presence. The malt flavor follows right through to the finish.

Slightly hazy light copper hue. The creamy, dense, well retained head ivory white head leaves intrucate lace. Citric hop nose upfront, followed by light caramel and pleasantly mellow butterscotch. The low carbonation accentuates the malt profile, which is comprised of buttery non - diacetyl caramel and light biscuit malt. Hop bitterness is a touch above norm for style, and fully counters malt sweetness, leaving this brew skewed towards hop bitterness. Creamy, full mouthfeel lent by the low realtive carbonation. The well rounded citrus hop flavor is not at all sharp or grapefruity in nature. Finishes with clean hop bitterness quickly fading. Holy Grail is flavorful, clean and highly drinkable. Cask conditioning does wonders to pale ales!
