Had the Jolly Scot Ale on tap at ABC in Harrisburg.
A nice, dark, Scottish Ale brewed year round on premises at the brewpub, this was a decent interpretation of the Scottish Ale style. According to ABC:
"This flavorful sweet ale has a smooth malt finish balanced against a light hop flavor. This beer is very quaffable and has become a brewpub favorite throughout the United States. "Jolly Scot" was a famed local beer produced by R.H. Graupners Brewery that was located at 10th and Market one block from our brewery."
A good description; it wasn't very hoppy though at all with a smooth malt flavor, a dark color and almost no hop presence. A nice beer to pair with the food though at ABC.
