In my brief time in the VA, I decided to swing by a little shop and pick up one of these. I know not why...Now looking at it, I feel as if the cap could just twist off..and it does! Fairly clear gold with white head fading to a thin white ring.
A little bready with some up front hop bitterness followed by a malty ride into a clean, if a little sweet, finish. A little floral hop aroma. Overall, a pretty solid lager from these guys. Pairs well with clams and scallops.

A clear golden, amber ale pour with a moderate head that dissipated moderately. The aroma was fresh, fruity (detect the taste of apple) and somewhat malty. The taste is sweet, malty, and dry. There is a sticky mouth feel. Otherwise this lager is average.

Fairly pedestrian but was quite easy to drink. Serves its purpose, but its more similar to an AAL/Mexican Lager than a Dormunder. Don't go in expecting a german lager and you'll be ok.

12oz bottle into a pint glass. No freshness dating that I could find.
Clear pale golden yellow body. Small white head. Little lacing.
only smells lagery.
somehow manages to be flavorful and yet very muted. I'm thinking this is how it's supposed to taste. Snag is, the taste isn't particularly good.
Mouth is between thin and medium. finish is a somewhat unpleasant yeast flavor.
Overall, it might be a pleasant thirst quencher on a hot summer's day, but there is little else to recommend here.

Poured into a pint glass. Head disapates quickly. Taste follow the smell. Not the smoothest beer but tasty and a good representation of the style. Give it a try.

Reviewed from notes. The appearance was a clear golden colored body with small slowly rising bubbles. A small white head leaving a film on top of the beer appeared and left some light mild lacing. The smell was malty with some really light citrus. The taste was malts and light citrus and added a slight corn taste that ended up tasting pretty good. The palate was light and left a sweet yet wet aftertaste and finish. Overall, this was a good dortmunder that I would come back to.
