From old notes in 2012.
Appearance: pours a dark reddish brown color with a 1" head.
Smell: caramel, chocolate, and a bit of earthy bitterness is mild on the nose.
Taste: slight roasted malt tone with some toffee, molasses, milk chocolate, and a moderate bitterness create a pleasant beer. Alcohol is mildly noticeable.
Mouhtfeel: medium bodied. Lightly crisp to start, smoother at the finish. Long lasting aftertaste.
Overall: a nice beer to slowly sip and enjoy. Not overly exciting, just a solid beer.
Serving type: bottle
