First time I seen these beers pop up in the Allegheny area into a pint glass. Color looks rather hazy not much head maybe a quarter inch that settles to a light ring. Kind of skunky hop bite slight citrus and mostly pine. Taste of Homebrew somewhat muted hop profile just enough to carry the alcohol to be well hidden along with a cracker dry body. Mouthfeel is a bit better goes down rather smooth easy to drink
Overall nothing I would run out and buy again at 2.50 for the single but if I see more of this brewery I might pick some up even though some people have called it mediocre

Great dark color, above average for a DIPA. One of the better offerings from ABC, yet average. Decent citrus aroma and flavor. Enjoyed our time so the bar though...sans kids

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a tulip. No freshness date... age unknown.
L: Golden brown pour. Thin head... leaves a thin rim of lacing.
S: Caramel hops and mild citrus... a bit of pine.
T/F: Sweet caramel malts... bitter... light citrus. Herbal and pine... somewhat earthy. Medium bodied... fair carbonation. A bit boozy.
O: A below average DIPA... maybe past its best-by, but not enough here to revisit.

My kind of beer. The best brew from Appalachian, especially on draft. So good, I usually have two on draft and take a 6 pack home. Usually there are 12 beers on tap and this is the one I like best. Makes the 70 mile round trip worth it.

From tuesday 2/13. 12oz bottle into a pint glass. No freshness dating, but since it's a Spring release, going to assume it's around 9 months old.
Doesn't look too good. Murky orange/amber body, small white head. Minimal lacing.
Sweet and malty aroma.
Well, I'm surprised, but there is still a trace of the hops signature. Solid malt background. Likely not what it should be, but still an okay drink.
Mouth around medium, and a little flat. Slightly bitter finish.
Overall, considering the age, it doesn't taste too bad. Will re-review if I come across a fresh bottle.

Poured from a brown 12 oz. bottle. Has a burnt orange color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of malts, light citrus. Taste is malts, mild citrus and bitterness, faint hints of alcohol. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall, not bad, but this beer seems a bit outta focus for the style. It kind of drinks like a high abv English IPA.
