On tap at Pizza Port Ocean Beach.
A: Dark gold in color with an inch of white froth. Scattered lacing.
S: Pine, orange, mint, grass, a touch of tropical character (pineapple). Biscuity malt. Nice aroma.
T: Grassy with notes of pine resin and honeydew melon. Citrus is reminiscent of apricot and orange. Low bitterness with a light crackery malt profile. Abrupt grainy finish.
M: Upper low to lower medium body with upper moderate carbonation. The mouthfeel is dry and crisp.
Overall: Smells good but the flavor falls off mid palate and leaves me wanting a different beer as I survey the menu.
