On-tap at Beachwood I, brewed at Port San Clemente,
A: Pours a dark gold with a light white head, spotty lace.
S: Great yeasty notes, leather, 'shrooms, white pepper.
T: Similar to the nose. Very yeast-oriented, peppery flavour with a lot of floral hops.
M: Crisp, clean, smooth, soft carbonation.
O: An intriguing beer, well made, with a great nose. Get this one while it lasts.

Described as a "fresh hop Belgian Pale Ale." Very nice lacing in the pint shaker. A slight mustache of foam but it lasts to the last gulp. Creamy carbonation makes for an outstanding mouthfeel.
Flavor is a little startling. Starts out very bitter. The dry-hopped style doesn't win any friends here. I'd call it more of an Belgian IPA, or just an IPA with some Belgian yeast. And that yeasty flavor is very much in evidence. There is a dry finish with the double-barreled bitterness of hops as well as yeast.
Still, it's a great mouthfeel and a nice beer aftertaste with a hint of fruitiness. On tap on Election night 2012 at the OB location.
