22oz bottle. this bottle was sent to me by user jacksdad12109 in a recent trade. thanks again jon! drank from my duvel tulip.
A- wow, this ones a gusher. white foam oozes out of the bottle as soon as i pop the crown. when it all settles down, im left with a slightly hazy golden colored body with a unique reddish/pinkish hue. the head is massive and bright white. it takes forever to settle down. a thick wall of lacing is left on the sides of my glass.
S- the fruits, however subtle, really shine through here. passion fruit being the strongest scent. raspberries come through as well. after that i get some pale malts, belgian candi sugar, and spices. coriander and clove. banana and bubblegum. i can tell that this was a tripel that was messed with.
T- the taste begins with belgian yeast and pale malts. a touch of candi sugar adds some sweetness. after that the fruits hit. passion fruit, cherries, raspberries, and bananas. some spiciness from the yeast (coriander and clove). a little bit of alcohol sneaks through.
M- the body is on the heftier side of light. the carbonation is very high. the alcohol shows a little, but nothing near the 10.5% that this weighs in at.
O- i liked this beer. i like the idea of a fruity tripel a little more than this was pulled off as, but its a unique idea and a solid attempt. so far nothing from voodoo has been a dud. this is an under appreciated brewery.

Red-amber color; slightly hazy with a fine head.
A tad too sweet despite some tartness.
Nice mix of fruity flavors with no one fruit dominating: A berry-cherry mix.
Medium-light body with fairly high carbonation.
Some hops show up in the aftertaste.
