Love Child poured a hazy reddish-gold with little lacing and retention.

I catch a whiff of cherries and other fruit notes, possibly raspberry.

Taste is sweet and again cherries. I don't know what passion fruit tastes like but I know it's in this brew and it could be the one covering up the 10% abv...not a hint of that. Bottom line this is hella fruity.

This is a lighter tripel and very smooth. Moderate carbonation.

Easy to sip and enjoyable as the other Voodoo brews. Great job again by Voodoo. Meadville PA stand up.

22oz bottle.
Red-amber color; slightly hazy with a fine head.

A tad too sweet despite some tartness.
Nice mix of fruity flavors with no one fruit dominating: A berry-cherry mix.
Medium-light body with fairly high carbonation.
Some hops show up in the aftertaste.

Poured into a chalice from the bomber.

A: slightly tight one finger head and a hazy deep gold ale color with a tinge of deep copper.

S: For some reason It is straight lavender hand soap with udder cream. Other people report yeast strains and cherries. I fail to get that. It is weird.

T: Lavender, coriander and fruitcake, with spicy yeast notes, and fresh baked bread.

M: Smooth and puckery at edges. Tip of tongue is prickly. Slightly chalky on finish. That ephemeral lavender in the nose is like a punch on the back end out breath.

O: Interesting. Not my cup of tea. Glad I got a chance to try it. Not terribly faithful to the style, but interesting nonetheless.

Poured from the bottle into a tulip glass.

A quite dark almost copper red, but hints at a brown and dark red like color. Off white and faint tain and barely one finger head, with some good staying power though from some solid slow rising noticeable tan carbonation.

Smells like a typical fruit beer. Small sensing fruit, a hint of weak sourness. Not much sweetness but also no hitting large booze either. Slightly cherry and candied red fruits, but hardly resembles a hint of Belgian tripel quality.

Taste is heavily on the fruit. Large amounts of raspberry and cherry senses, but is quite dry and fleeting. Finishes is quite tonic and minerally dry with virtually no aftertaste. There is a high abv listed, but is incredibly well masked and hidden. Some real tannic seed fruit quality with a large dryness in the mid palate.

It's a well put together brew, but definitely hints at fruit more than anything, which takes away from my classic Belgian tripel sensing enjoyment.
