It pours a hazy, floaty, mucho carbonated golden orange. Two fingers of tight beige head sculpt and hang out for a lip-frosting eternity. Lacing is more of a gradually descending mesh curtain.
In the aroma, caramel malt is distant but present, and lightly sweet with berry fruit. Hops intimate more than assert, with a hint of general citrus. A bit of biscuit and arc of alcohol round things out.
Upon tasting, the malt is lightly toasted and thinly sweet with caramel, and maybe melon. Hops come across grapefruit dry with a sprinkle of crispness. Another glance of caramel joins a doughy bread note with a yeast kicker and a muted blur of ambient alcohol. The merest tease of residual grain sweetness is dried promptly in the glow of a lingering bitter finish that seems to build as it fades. The smooth, solid flavor sneaks up and appeases.
It starts round and medium bodied, but it drops off instantly despite a dying dry ember.
The aroma didn't promise too much, but the smooth and gradual flavor curve makes it a nice little indulgence. It won't daze or amaze, but it'll please well enough. Its easy going character belies a sneaky ABV, and its simple enough to enjoy. It might never spring to mind but it's worth the occasional remembrance or two despite a couple stumbles.

The best thing about this beer was opening the bottle. The worst thing about this beer was drinking it.
In the aroma, there was plenty of fresh smelling hops floating out of the bottle. As I poured I noticed a considerable amount of sediment as the pour finished.
The taste was stale and old tasting and lacking those hops that I scented upon first opening.
No date on the bottle that i seen so age is unknown.
What a letdown.
