A: Dull and Muted, Golden yellow with a nitro pour haze. Full, stiff and dense head. good retention and lacing.
S: Light floral, citrus and piney hops blend. Hints of straw.
T: Muted blend of hops and malt, citrus and pine and bready, somewhat earthy... nothing really shinning through. The nitro obviously thins out the flavor profile a bit, but it doesnt help this beer much.
M: silky smooth nitro pour with just a little touch of earthyness
D: Light and silky smooth and low flavor profile. Could drink more, but needs more.

On Nitro at Capone's.
Poured a medium golden/yellow color with a larger sized, frothy white head. Aromas of pine, fruity hoppiness, and some spiciness. Tastes of the same fruitiness, spicy finish, and floral hops. Nice lacing left on the glass.
Notes from and tasted on: 8/15/09

A - I love a nitro pour...a cloudy and creamy golden body with a two finger head that was thick and creamy...great retention lead to amazing lacing
S - I could not get a good whiff through the dense nose...there were a few hop notes consisting of floral and pine varieties
T - Here are the hops...not too overpowering with the hops though...they come at you in the beginning with a floral and citrus flavor...they leave you with a piney bitterness...the malts are there throughout the beer...but the flavor of the malts come out as the beer warms...the present a caramel/toffee flavor
M - I love a nitro pour...medium bodied with a thick and creamy feel...coats the palate and leaves a good bitterness
D - I'll say it again...I love a nitro pour...I couldn't wrap my head around a nitro-IPA at first...but I was very impressed with this beer...the nitro makes it creamy and adds a touch of something (I just can't put my finger on it) that is desirable...a must try from Voodoo

On-Tap in a pint glass.
Got Gas is a healthy golden, slight bronze IPA in appearance with a slightly tight bright white head that left nice looking stains on the glass. Smells were more earthy than citrus with the taste pretty much even split on the two. A nice dose of hops with a even better layout of malt giving off some bready tastes with sweetness. Medium feel with a nitro feel, good drinkability but i'm good with my pint.

A: Golden yellow body... moderate white cap.. good retention and some lacing left behind.
S: Real soft pine/floral hop bitterness. Pleasant, but not terribly interesting.
T: Everything about this beer is smooth... almost too smooth... the pine/floral hops never really catch long enough to leave much of an impression. Delicate malt backbone.
M: Super smooth. Nice texture with the nitro-tap. Clean finish.
D: Easy to drink. Almost too easy with a lack of a flavor punch. Worth a try, but nothing stood out.

I had this at Capone's -taken from notes
A medium golden w/ a thick cream cap, the aroma is very citrus oriented, with an accent on the lemony hop scents. The feel is full, creamy and sweet w/ resinous hoppy oil in the midst of the creamy nitro feel. The taste is very good, plenty of American hop flavor and the smooth malt showcases the hops without a hindrance of sweetness, more or less smooth cream ale taste with a bunch of fresh tasting hops. This is one of the most drinkable Nitro beers I have ever had - Kudos to Voodoo for Got Gas?!

On tap at Capone's.
A-Pours a clear amber with a huge fluffy white head and great lacing. A really great looking beer.
S-Nice pine hop aromas, and a bit of grapefruit as well.
T-Delicious. Abundant piney hop goodness with a good sweet malt base.
M-Medium bodied, nicely creamy, with a great lingering bitterness.
D-A really excellent nitro beer, and a great new addition by Voodoo.

Had this on nitro tap at the UPICK6 Beer store in Erie.
This beer is impressive and amazing while being delivered via nitro. Of course, the head is massive in size, and creamy smooth, like whipped cream (and about as dense). The lacing is incredible! I've never had a beer where there was a solid sheet of lacing from the top of the pint to the bottom ... until I had this. Wow doesn't even begin to tell the story.
The nose is understated, and I'm not sure if that's because of the nitro, or because the brew is lacking in nose. This was the only thing lacking in the brew.
Taste is bold with a hop forward presense, but not overstated. A balanced biscuity maltiness is there, and the sweetness easily balances the hops. Mouthfeel is SO creamy ... its almost like a milk shake melting in your mouth. The 7% abv puts this on the edge of a session beer, but I could sure drink this one all night long.
If you get the chance, find this one on tap. You will be thrilled with it, as I was. Wonderful job Voodoo, and props to Erie's UPICK6 store for putting this on the nitro tap for us!

On nitro-tap at Capone's on 8/15/09.
A - Slightly hazy dark amber/coppery orange body wth one-finger creamy alabaster cap that retained amazingly and splashed a thick coat of lace around the glass.
S - Floral and citrusy hops are at the forefront of quite a complex little hop bouquet. There's also a hint of perfume in the midst of a sweet caramel malt base.
T - Very complex hop flavor with a dominant perfumy character, but also with floral, citrus and even some sharp piney notes, especially in the backend. There's enough sweet malts to balance, with hints of caramel and toffee.
M - Incredibly creamy, full-bodied mouthfeel with a smooth texture and some residual stickiness on the palate. Finishes with moderate bitterness on the tongue.
D - This is definitely my favorite Voodoo brew thus far. Got Gas? boasts a complex hop profile with lots of flavor and a fantastic mouthfeel. The nitrogen really softened this up quite a bit, which in turn bolstered the hop flavor.
