A - Dark chocolate brown with a clear, reflective body. Milk chocolate head with small, carbonation on the sides.

S - Chocolate and fugdy nose with big butterscotch pappy aspect. Vanilla and slight booziness as well

T - Chocolate, fudge, tons of vanilla, and tons of butterscotch from the pappy. Slight oak and alcohol on the finish. This has tons of vanilla, butterscotch, and fudge in it and it is absolutely amazing

M - Medium thick and smooth body with a slight stickiness from the sweetness.

O - This is an amazing pappy beer with great butterscotch and vanilla presence to it. Want to get as much of this as possible. Reminds me of a slightly less thick yet sweeter Rare

Did the full side-by-side-by-side with the Apple Brandy and Buffalo Trace versions. Bottle #662 into a Cigar City snifter. Shared with schen9303.

Pours a .25 finger dark mocha colored head with poor retention. Beer is pitch black. Lacing is minimal. Stringy and spotty with decent cling. Thick, oily, monstrous legs. Solid.

Nose is unmistakable pappy. Notes of fig, prunes, soy sauce, fudge, leather, and molasses. Very sweet and hugely aromatic. Really good.

Opens sweet molasses and fudge. Sweet soy sauce, prunes, fig, and plum in the middle all wrapped up in chocolate with a lingering, evil booziness wafting in the background. End is sweet honey, some leather and more booze going down. Sweet, sticky aftertaste. Very very impressive.

Medium to full bodied with low carbonation. Smooth, slick, and oily in the mouth and goes down warm, viscous, and caressing. Messy finish with a strong, sweet, lingering aftertaste. Oh so perfect.

Easily one of the best imperial stouts I've had in a long, long time. I went to this release and I'm definitely no homer (as can be seen from my reviews) but this beer is no joke. Seek it out. You won't be disappointed.

12 oz. bottle poured into a snifter. Bottle # 847.

Appearance - Viscous black. Inky. Almost no head.

Smell - Incredibly bourbon aroma. Dark dark chocolate and licorice. Vanilla.

Taste - Really fudgy. Bourbon is delicious. Dark fruits and rich dark chocolate in the back. Very sweet. Boozy.

Mouthfeel - Thick and low carbonation. Boozy.

Overall - Immense beer. Delicious barrel.

I can see why this beer was rated as a top 25 beer in the world in 2013 by draft magazine. An absolutely dynamic beer which combines the potent Voodoo Black Magick aged in Pappy Barrels. Talk about a match made in heaven. Kudos to the Voodoo team for delivering on of the top beers in the world in 2013!
