Decided to swing down on a free Saturday afternoon to check this place out. I'm glad I did!

It's in a fairly dingy, dying town, not a whole lot around. The place doesn't really even look like much from the outside. Inside, it's rustic, funky, and very woody. Everything appears to be second hand- all reclaimed stuff they used to build their pub. Very cool, and gives it a really cool, rugged look- especially the old refrigerators that now house their taps. The flight handles are made from old bourbon barrel staves, there are old doors lining the ceiling, old bourbon barrels as seats, etc.

Probably about 10 taps or so, 6 year round offerings (Good Vibes, Wynona's Brown, Gran Met, White Magick of the Sun, Pilzilla, Voodoo Love Child) plus some one offs and casks (Hoodoo with Sriracha on cask, CAUTION! CONTAINS REAL PUMPKIN!, Breakfast of Champions, Motueka Single Hop Pale Ale, Irish Harvest Special) I personally got two glasses of the Pumpkin, holy shit, it's amazing. Breakfast of Champions is one of the best low ABV stouts I've had, so much flavor in that ABV, and Good Vibes is one of the best IPAs in the Northeast. Their one-offs/seasonals do seem to be better than their year-round beers, other than Good Vibes.

The food menu is very small, about 8 items total, and it apparently changes a lot. The pepperoni pizza I got was very tasty. You order at the bar, then pick up your order at the kitchen window.

Prices for everything was relatively reasonable. Wouldn't call it cheap, but not expensive either. Caution was $7.25 for a 8oz glass, but then again, that makes sense. Breakfast of Champions was only $4.25 for a 12 oz glass, not bad at all. Pizza was $12.

They have bottles to go, the majority of their year round stuff (except for Good Vibes). They did have Hoodoo in bottles, not on tap, so I took some home, as well as a 22 oz of Pilzilla.

A definite must-stop if you're anywhere near this area. Outstanding beer.

I can't believe how many times I've been to the production facility and never thought to cross the highway to chill at this more quaint joint. The vibe is all kinds of retro and rustic, but hip and modern as well. I just love the old doors hanging from the ceiling, as well as the vintage refrigerator tap stations.

The taplist isn't much different here than the Compound, leaning heavily on the lighter side all throughout summer, while rocking out all kinds of other beverages just like they do at their other locations. I really don't know how they do it--the few breweries doing coffee, cocktails and more are usually much larger in space and staff, but they manage it across their locations fine as far as I can tell, with a rough 50/50 split amongst their patrons between beer and non-beer tickets.

The kicker here is the food. While the production facility offers pizza made with local dough, it gets pretty old pretty quickly. Meadville proper isn't exactly a mecca for haute cuisine, either. So the fact that we haven't come over to the Brewpub until now--particularly with all the wonderful food options written on the chalkboard staring us right in the face--just makes me want to slap myself. It's probably the best food in town, which, don't get me wrong, isn't saying a whole lot, but it's leaps and bounds ahead of the local fare.

(New kensington location). So fun! This place totally took us back to the West Coast and the enjoyable beer garden atmosphere. Wide open garage doors to the pleasant indoor/outdoor seating. We had the Peter Piper's Pickled Pepper Pepperoni Pizza and fell in love. Amazing FLAKY crust, so tasty. A little on the PRICEY (read EXPENSIVE) side when we had to pay full price for a half pour, ummmm, no thank you! (like $7/pint), but T
the beer is really great. A lot of "wow"s coming out here! Over all, a top spot. Too bad it's so far away. We really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and the BEER! Great job Voodoo!

By the way, best pizza crust EVER!

The type of feel I like in a bar. It feels like you are in a bar, in a small town that happens to make great beer.

Stopped while going between Erie and Sharon Pennsylvania while visiting relatives.

Had the red ale and the British Strong Ale. The red ale was good and the British strong ale was great. Decent service given that there was only one person at the bar. No food. Got some fresh Hazy Vibe to go. Had this with pizza later - very good!

Fun place to visit if in the area.

Small more intimate ambiance than their mother ship a few miles away, the beer selection is very good and the food venue while a bit limited hits the mark on quality.

Found this gem after my parents moved to small-town western PA. Now we visit Voodoo (Meadville) every time we're in town visiting. A stop we regularly look forward to. Parking can be sub-par, and the small-town police will gladly sit outside to watch for folks leaving.

Vibe: Cool. Hipster, but not that type of hipster that is just annoying. Doors hung from the ceiling, old wood floors and bar/table tops. Taps are made out of 50s era refridgerators. Large bar spanning the entire left side of the place. Table and lounge seating as well. Checks are presented in old books which have been written in by other patrons. Think bathroom graffiti, but in an old bound book, and with your bill in it. An "interestingly entertaining" read, not for the faint of heart.

Quality: Beer is good. Consistency may be a question as I feel like I've had a watery batch here, but that may be entirely due to the fact that I only get to enjoy Voodoo 2-3 times per year.

Service: Mostly good. All but one or two times have been excellent service. Friendly, talkative staff. Only bad experiences are when the friends of the staff/owner are there, causing distraction.

Selection: Has gotten better with time. Flights are a pre-set lineup of their core beers, but it always seems like at least one of these is out and being substituted. Numerous times they've even been without their flagship IPA. Cocktails are now available too.

Went to Voodoo on 3/26/17. Went to the Meadville Location

Arriving, it is located in a small little down town area, on a little street, with a slightly inconspicuous store front. I found it, then looked for a place to park. Had a hard time with this, but I think it was my lack of knowledge, not their lack of instructions or parking. But, I found parking on the street close by (and it is free on the weekends!). Walked a block, and to the taproom.

Vibe: Very cool. Laid back, kind of "hipster" ish feel. Good tunes playing on the radio. Not too loud. Inside is decorated how the people who want the place want to decorate. And I personally love that. It wasnt loud, it wasnt obnoxious, wasnt dirty. It was cool. There is a huge bar just slightly to your left when you walk in, about 20 seats probably. There are table to the left, and a little sitting area if you want to just sit and have a beer with some friends. Was immediately greeted by a bar tender, and told me to sit anywhere. I was alone, so I sat at the bar.

Selection: Beer list was pretty big, about 10 beers. I am not sure if they had guest taps because I wasnt interested in that at the time. So, I got a flight of their "staple beers" plus a taster of "Blossoming Down Under" and "Big Black Voodoo Daddy". The menu was small, and contained a little of everything. Pizza, sandwiches, mac and cheese. I got the mac and cheese to eat. There are cans to buy, and I suggest you do. I think they do growlers, I didnt get one. They also have glasses, and shirts I think.

Quality: Man, I was blown away. All the beer was solid, and I really loved the Big Black Voodoo Daddy and the White Magic Of The Sun. But, my friends, Blossoming Down Under, IS AMAZING. Amazing IPA, hazy, soft, full of flavor. I ended up ordering a full glass of that with my meal. That beer alone is worth a trip. I got mac and cheese to eat, with pepper, and pepperoni and other meats in it. It was good, not great, and the portion was small for $10. That is really my biggest gripe.

Service: It was all that could be asked for. My glass stayed full, and my food came up super fast. Super nice guy that waited on me.

Overall: 100% worth the visit if you are close, even an hour away. Great beer, decent food (I want to try more, to give them a fair shake). Make it here if you can, its worth it.

Stopped by while visiting some breweries/brewpubs in the Meadville area.

V - Good times. The bar occupies an end unit of a row building. There is a long bar, behind it is an equally long communal table for patrons to sit. In the back of the bar there is also a nook with some bench seating. Next to the nook there is a pickup window for the kitchen. Since the bar is in an end unit there are a ton of windows for light. The decorations are unique. No TVs, which allow you to focus more on your company and the beer.

Q - Great beer and food. While the food options are rotating I highly suggest the Souther Fried Chicken sliders if they are on the menu. Shrimp flat bread and Hummus were also good. Had a beer sampler as well.

Ser - Bartenders were helpful & Knowledgeable. They remained friendly and attentive even as the bar became crowded.

Sel - Twelve beers on tap. The sampler includes: Good Vibes, Wynona's Big Brown ale, White Magic of the Sun, Gran Met, Voodoo Love Child, & Killpillz. Then there are about eleven food options which rotate weekly.

O - Fun place to hang out. The food is great and the beer is delicious. The bar got pretty busy while we were there on a mid Saturday afternoon. Even though there were plenty of patrons it never felt overly crowded which added to the energy/excitement in the room. This place is definitely worth checking out and I look forward to going back.

Stopped in here to see what they had on tap at the time. The vibe was pretty cool some vintage decor going on which I thought was rad. The selection was good, the service was good too. The place is cool, I'd go back if I'm in the area.
