Two friends and I had lunch there. The beer was decent, though nothing exceptional. The weiss was different because it had an orange flavor. The beer list was quite extensive and diverse. The other beers were decent to slightly above average. We ended up being there awhile and received a complimentary sampler and deserts. The food was good, especially the desserts. The service was very good - the staff was very courteous and knowlegible. The only down-side was the spacing - it was a bit cramped. I'm looking forward to going there again!

A bit loud but that was the only negative. Had ten beers on tap,all their own and was pleasantly surprised by the quality. They were good to very good, several different styles and well made
Only had a few good items but thought they were excellent. Would definitely go back

Vibe: I stopped in this place on a Saturday afternoon prior to a Rutgers football game. It was conveniently located next to the NJ Transit train station and the shuttle buses to the stadium. The place became more crowded as the game time approached, but it never because too crowded where it was difficult to walk around or order a drink at the bar.
Quality: Beers were served in a variety of glassware (i.e., pint glasses, snifters) and served at the proper temperature.
Service: There were only two bartenders working so sometimes it took a while to order a drink, but our server was very helpful and friendly.
Selection: The brewery had a total of ten of its beers on-tap
Food: We munched on two starters, crispy Brussel sprouts and buffalo hummus, both of which were tasty.

This Brew-pub has been there long before micro-brews and brew-pubs were a fad. I've always enjoyed all of their brews and their burgers are THE BEST in my book. Parking is tricky but if you don't find a spot on the street, there are nearby parking garages.

Years ago , my family and I went here and I was REALLY disappointed in the beer selection. In stuck me that they were catering to a younger crowd, possibly even the local college students. So we neverbr eturned. Fast forward may 15-20 Years. My wife and I wnt to go out for a date night. I wanted to do a brewpub. We love Triumph, but that is quite a ride. We decided to give Harvest Moon a second chance. We loved it. We ate upstairs. It was noisy, but not so noiseynthat we could not hear each other. We ordered the Swineherd pie appetizer. It was plenty for two people. Kind of like mini shepherd's pie. We also ordered beer sampler and loved the coffee porter enough to get a shifter and eventually a half growler to take home. My wife had a burger and I had a burrito. We both loved the food and we love that this place is so much better than our first experience. We will definitely go back.

Located on Geroge Street, which is chock-full of bars and eateries, Harvest Moon is an attractive and pubby two-story venue that brews their own brews. Offering about six or seven beers of many styles. Unfortunatley they had no IPA available. Those they did have were fresh and tasty. Hearty food and efficient service make for a pleasant evening. Plenty of locals and students, since New Brunswick is home to Rutgers University.

Good venue in downtown New Brunswick. Lots of local parking nearby. Creatively used older building with a small bar area, and dining spread around multiple floors. We had seven beers on tap, with a taste them all sampler option. Some pretty good options, including the sour saison and the Kolsch. Good sized menu with variations for lunch and dinner. Service was prompt and friendly. Growlers to go available.

Pretty cool spot, There is a nice lower lever and an upper level to the place. The bar area is pretty big. The parking is a bit shitty but it's just something you'll have to deal with when you go there. The food was good and the selection was pretty good when I was there.

Overall: we were here a Mon. afternoon so we bellied up no problem. Place was clean, our bartender was attentive and knowledgeable about the beers (offered free small samples when we inquired about beers). As for the beers: witbier reminded me (fondly) of Avery White Rascal. Black IPA was good but stood in the shadow of my latest crush (dark penance by Founders). The nose on the sour reminded me of a resiling, decent flavor (passion fruit). My dude drank the Gose but it was too salty for my palate. We would stop in again if we were in the area but wouldn't drive there specifically for the pours or food.
