Notes/Commercial Description:
Our unfiltered Breakfast Ale is as fresh and full of flavor as a day down the shore! Fermented with Belgian ale yeast, this beer has a slightly tangy, fruity taste that pairs as well with bacon and eggs as it does with a back yard barbecue. Easy to drink with wonderful flavor, a combination that makes this beer a Summer favorite!

A: The beer is hazy dark golden yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high off white head that died down, leaving wispy lacing on the surface and a thin collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of fruity esters are present in the nose along with notes of pale malts and candi sugars as well as some hints of Belgian yeast.
T: The taste seems to be a lot fruitier compared to the smell—apples and bananas seem to stand out in particular—and has slight hints of sweetness. Hints of yeast and spices are noticeable towards the finish.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is easy to drink, and while the flavor is not very complex I agree with the label in that this would make a nice accompaniment to a breakfast of bacon and eggs.

A 12 ounce bottle that is very fresh.

The Appearance is great. A nice golden hue with a good inch and half of airy head.
The smell has soome citrus but is mostly yeast and spice.
The carbonation is a little on the high side and it doesn't have a big finish.
The Taste is yeasty and spicy. There are hints of banana on the finish.
Overall, I like this beer more than I probably should. But it is an enjoyable warm weather beer.
Very drinkable and it makes me want to get a shore house.

Poured a murky burnt orange hue with a one finger foamy white head. There was good retention and decent lacing.

The smell featured a moderate yeast ester with some wheat spice.

The taste consisted of fruity and earthy esters with some citrus, soft candy sugar and chewy wheat malt.

The mouthfeel was moderately chewy.

Overall a tasty and refreshing Belgian inspired ale.

No date.

A: Huge head--really, like it's infected.

S: Initially, all I get is dust. Later, sweet Belgian yeast byproducts come through.

T: The same dustiness comes through, as does the yeast. There is some tartness on the finish. Really pretty simple flavors, but not bad (except for the dust).

M: Pretty flat.

O: I'm not sure if there was something wrong with this beer. The huge head. Could indicate so, but the flavor isn't obviously of infection. Not something I will look for in the future, but not bad.
