Nice golden-straw like color. Poured an amazingly vibrant, fluffy white head which reduced to a clingy lace around the perimeter of my glass.
Aroma has hints of honey, slightly earthy with a floral essence.
Taste is grainy, with vegetable notes, subtly sweet notes like corn on the cob.
Relatively light bodied, crisp and refreshing beer that finishes crisp while it's cold, but became tiny bit winy at the finish as it warmed up.

Appearance: 1/2 inch head, golden in color, clear, high carbonation
Smell: grass, grain, and light toasted malt
Taste: grass and grain in the beginning followed by big floral hops with a touch of honey
Mouthfeel: moderate carbonation, light bodied, sweet with a big bitter spike in the middle and a less bitter end
Overall: A nice if not slightly above average beer. There is big time hops in the middle for hop heads. I would probably get this again if I were more of a hop head, but this in my mind is just above average for the style.

Big thanks to NJpadreFan for this brew.
12oz. brown bottle poured into an imperial pint.
A: Pours a lemony straw color with good clarity. Moderate head on the pour that leaves a loose skim. Not much lacing.
S: Husky, almost tart grains. A bit of toasted biscuit. A healthy touch of grassy, floral hops.
T/M: More of the lightly toasted biscuity malts with a husky and nearliy tart twang to it. Hops have a small snap of bitterness to balance and some grassy flavor. Body is pretty light with average carbonation.
D: Drinks pretty decent but there are plenty of better and more interesting American Lagers out there.

Cricket Hill- East Coast Lager
Apearance- Light golden brown with a 1" thick head that quickly disappears.
Smell- Nice Grainy malt. Light touch of hops.
Taste- Immediatey hit with grain and toasty malt followed by a light touch of green pine hops.
Mouthfeel- Mild flavor with a crisp finish.
Overall- The flavor very comes out further into the beer. A nice clean, easy to drink lager. A good beer to have on an afternoon sail.

Fresh bottle. Pale yellow with initial white fizzy head. Gazzy overcarbonated, with metallic in aftertaste. The lagerish taste is overwhelmed by the process, much like a macro. Not much taste here, a tad hops and more malt. Not finishable, but perhaps meat tenderizer.

A yellow-gold body is capped by a decent-sized head of creamy bright-white foam. The retention is good and it keeps a thin surface covering throughout the glass, leaving very nice lace as it goes! The aroma is fresh and inviting with floral hops entwined in bright, grainy malt. The body is medium and it's crisp-then-creamy in the mouth due to a very fine carbonation. The floral hops promised in the aroma are delivered in both flavor and firm bitterness that's equally balanced by semi-rich grainy malt. It finishes short and dry with a lingering note of floral/grassy hops. Very nice! Much more of a European lager than I expected, with a respectable amount of hops and a solid maltiness. Kudos!

pours nice pale golden color, very fizzy.
smells of nice grains, corn and a nice hop nosebite.
the taste is true, taste very grassy with just enough bite from the hops, very pale.
feels wonderful on the tongue and drinks like a champ. it's like a schaefer with micro quality. very tasty beer to throw back on a summer day or anytime for that matter

A great pale lager that's relatively full-flavored and well-balanced. The malts are clean and biscuity while the hops are crisp with floral and citrus flavors. The malt is a touch grainy, but not in a bad way. Rather it just adds to the flavor. I found this to be a great pairing with an opening course at dinner or as a stand alone appetizer. Worth trying if you're into lagers.

Got this one from jcwattsrugger via jwc215, cheers to all!
Pours a bubbly golden with 1 finger of pearl colored head. Not much head retention & lacing
S: Cereal notes & grassyness
T: Slight breadyness, slight metallic hops & honey up front. Slight grainyness & some citrus hops show as this warms. Finishes crisp with some grainy & bready notes
MF: Medium bodied, crisp, fairly smooth carbonation & good balance
Drinks easy, nothing mid-blowing here, but worthy of sixer while BBQing or watching the game

Had this brew on tap at a local baseball game.
A- Goldeny straw yellow color- cloudy and hazy.
S- Smelled of grains and straw
T- Hint of piney flavors- lots of grains and natural earthy flavors
M- Smooth- carbonation bubbles.
D- A sessionable lager- nothing that will wow you or make you search high and low for the beer. It was somewhat enjoyable while enjoying a baseball game on a hot summer night.
Not bad, support local beers!

A well made beer beer, but the flavor profile is not to my liking.
Appearance: Amber color, nice think head. Looking good.
Smell: Malt and some hops, nothing to surprising. Slightly sweet smelling.
Taste: The beer was sweet and slightly fruity. Not what I was expecting. The lager flavor profile was there, but seemed out of whack for a traditional lager.
Mouthfeel: Had much more body than I had expected. Too much for the style, but I kind of liked it.
Drinkability: Had no trouble drinking it, but given an options I would select another beer.

Pours an incredibly clear and golden color with a bright white two finger head which retains pretty well.
Very subtle nose of bready malts and grassy hops. Nothing special. Body is surprisingly bigger and fuller than expected. Not watery at all. Medium fully carbonated slightly juicy and thirst quenching body. Sweet biscuit up front followed by some herbal and floral hops. Nice dry bite finish with some grassy and citric hop flavors as well. More on the earthy side than the fruity side.
Very well blended flavors that go together well. Malt body backs up the hop presence well for a great balance. Very nice.

Poured a very carbonated and crystal clear hay colored yellow. A nice three finger head of white fizz then came up over the top, settled quickly and only left behind minimal lace. The aroma was very light. Some grains in there, wheat and a touch off bready malts. Some biscuit like aroma as it began to warm up some. There was much more of the same in the flavor. Not a bad macro, but the style leaves little room for complexity. Nice grain profile with a touch of wheat. Some nice earthy malt flavors, a touch of light bittering hops towards the finish, but nothing to write home about. A decent feel on this one, as the body was very light and the carbonation profile was well established. This was one that was very easy to throw down. In fact it went do so quickly I had to go get another to finish dinner, which does not usually happen. So needless to say it's a drinker.
Overall not bad, I am not the biggest fan of the style, but I have to admit this was much better then most. It at least had a slight variation and some flavor to it. An easy choice for a party or beach day. I don't know if I would purchase again, but if I saw it around I would have no issue in having one.

Pours an average looking, medium golden colour with a moderate to thin head that quickly dissolves to nothing.
The smell is a bit more enticing with a sweet chalky base to it, some faint citrus notes, and obvious malt presence.
The flavour isn't much more than slightly above average, It pretty much echoes the charateristics of the smell, though its a bit more bland than the smell was. There's not much more to say than that. Mouthfeel is what you'd expect, and nothing to rave about.
This one is very basic and has no real flaws, but isn't really enticing at all either. It'd be a nice brew to begin converting macro drinkers, I think. Aside from maybe stocking up on this for a party to do just that, I don't really think I'll be drinking much of this brew anytime soon.

Like other Cricket Hill Brews, there's nothing overly spectacular about this lager, but it hits the spot in a solid way. Looks like it should, nice golden slightly orangey color. Smells perfumey, with some grassy hoppyness going on. Tastes fruitier than expected, with more grassy hops and sweet malts going throughout. Mouthfeel was fabulous, just lovely. Very drinkable, another hot day thirst quencher. I'd keep a few in my fridge.
