I am somewhat surprised to find that no one has ever reviewed this place. This is a quick one, so hang in. After a lunch at Coronado Brewing Company, I stopped in here to grab some things before the return trip to Mission Bay. It is what it is, a 7-11 style store with lottery tixs and deli fare, but they also had some crazy good beer next to all the BMC in the back. They had a fair selection of locals (CBC, Humbolt,..) and much to my surprise, Stone IRS, Vertical 07, and 11th Anniv.. I had not seen any of those yet in my SD adventure and gladly got some. The prices were not the greatest, this is San Diego/Coronado so I did not expect deep discounts. The guys behind the counter stop yelling at each other enough to ring me out and I had more beer to pack for the flight home. I will go back if I am in the area again; they were not cheap, but they are far enough off the beaten path that they have some hidden gems for me. (929 characters)

Stopped in for a peek. All of the beer is refrigerated as the place is pretty much open air. They have about 2 doors of bombers and 3 doors of 6ers. 2 more doors of macro. Nice to see the craft outnumbering macro, but there were plenty of 40s too. The prices seemed reasonable. I was going to the beach so I didn't buy anything just browsed. I noticed stuff like Brux that had already sold out at other stores around the city. It seemed like the best liquor store that I passed by while walking around in Coronado. (514 characters)

Not sure if this fits the bill as a dedicated craft outlet but it does have a fairly decent selection of local and widely available craft offerings-they use the entire back right wall for beers and in addition have the usual macros and well-known Euro stuff. Prices are decent, service what you'd expect from a C-store...nonexistent and curt. But when you get off a cross-country flight and don't get to your Coronado hotel around 10:30, they're still open and that counts 4 sumpm. This place will definitely do in a pinch with a needed solid craft offering as well as a decent space dedicated to wines. (603 characters)
