I was quite disappointed with the beer selection at this particular Harris Teeter. Around these parts, HT is known as a higher end grocery store catering to middle and higher income folks. Stores in the Charlotte area tend to carry a fairly extensive selection of craft brews. This store, however, did not. The beer cooler is at the back of the store to the left as you walk in. Macros outnumbered craft beer by more than 2 to 1. The craft beers consisted of a few Sam Adams brews, SNPA, Duvel and a couple of Ommegang beers. Other than the ever present Guinness and Saranac offerings, that was it. Nothing else of interest to BAs was noted. I guess if you lived in the neighborhood and didn't want to drive too far, this store would be worth a visit. Otherwise, drive the extra 20 minutes to Charlotte for your beer needs.

Your typical grocery store here. Now while I have to admit they have a better selection then most regular stores, this would be far from a beer destination. In act I have been in here numerous times on drives through and the beer section is never really somewhere I look. Still though you can get most NC locals along with a good mixture of others from around the US. A bit low on imports, but prices are pretty good comparitively speaking. Overall if you are in a pinch and need a sixed its a good place, but I would not go seeking anything out here.

This store is very visible from I85. It is located right off of the interstate on Cox road, in between 85 and 74. Traffic is quite hectic at the intersection but it is well worth it to have the best selection in the area. The couple of times I have been there, Sam Adams has been on sale. I picked up three sixers of the Double Bock when they first came out for $6.49 each. That is the best price I saw for that beer anywhere. Again, being a grocer, service is pretty nonexistent. The beer is located at the very back of the store on the left of the entrance. They have some warm and some cold, but most of it is cold. All the craft stuff is in the open cooler and is always well stocked. Ommegang, Three Philsosphers, Chimay, Rogue and plenty of other beers available.
