Inspired by the beauty of the White Mountains; the Sonoran White Chocolate Ale is a light, refreshing and completely unique wheat beer. Like a fine chocolate, this brew has a delicate aroma and a subtle taste of white chocolate, which is truly astonishing!

Poured a rich, cloudy gold with bubbles going up the glass and three fingers of fluffy white head that left thick lacing on the glass. Very nice, a good wheat beer appearance. Scents of milk and white chocolate, some faint, sour berry-like notes and some faint vanilla. Not a lot going on in the aroma other than the chocolate aromas, very sweet but not bad. Flavors of milk and white chocolate, moderately sweet, with a bit of a hot chocolate flavor that gets more intense in the finish and aftertaste. Sweetness is balanced by some grainy and cracker malt flavors, most apparent on the aftertaste. There are also some mild, earthy hop flavors in the background, some vanilla and a slight hint of sourness. All this works to balance the sweetness of the chocolate flavors and make a good, not overly complex flavor profile that is quite nice. Mouthfeel is medium-light bodied with a moderate level of carbonation and a mouthfeel quite similar to eating chocolate. A good feeling and quite easy to drink, very refreshing. Overall this is an interesting beer. The addition of chocolate to a light American Pale Wheat makes for an interesting combination of flavors that makes this a unique twist on a style I've found to be very homogenous. Quite good. (1,251 characters)
